We wake up every morning to make fresh dough from scratch, and with a recipe that’s over 40 years old. So yeah, we’ve been making it like this for a while now. Our grandparents made it this way, our parents made it this way, so there is no chance we are making it any other way. Our pizza sauce is made with 100% American tomatoes and fresh basil from our garden every day for the next day. We make our fresh mozzarella in Harlingen Texas from a Wisconsin curd every week. Our pizzas are made with our own blend of whole milk, partskim, and fresh mozzarella to achieve a moist but not too greasy companion for our house pizza sauce. Our ovens heat up to over 500 degrees so that by 11 AM we have fresh pizza pies that are ready to slice up and serve

It’s unfortunate I’ve had not just 1 bad experience with this place, but two – and it’s crazy it was the exact same issue in the same month. Earlier this month we had friends over and ordered 3 pizzas, wings, & garlic knots. One of the pizzas was essentially a “custom” margherita pizza with added pesto sauce. We’ve ordered this before and it was great! When the delivery driver handed me the box, my hands felt weird so I lifted the box to look under and the entire bottom of the box was saturated in oil. I brought the pizza inside, saw the tag that it was the “custom” pizza – and it was dripping with oil. I couldn’t figure it out till we realized there was NO pizza sauce on it. It was just cheese and bread and due to the oil in the pesto sauce I guess – it just leaked all over the place.
I called to explain the situation and the girl on the phone said, “um…so what do you want me to do about it?”. I asked if it’s possible to just refund the 1 pizza cause everything else was fine. Put me on hold and came back on the line to let me know the manager approved a refund and hung up. Fine, whatever.
Yesterday evening we decided to order again, similar pizza again. The driver dropped it off, as I carried it in I jokingly said to my wife, “Imagine if they messed it up again”. Surprise surprise. The bottom of the box was drenched in oil again and I knew when I opened it there would be the same type of pizza, missing the sauce. This time on the tag showing all the toppings we chose, “red pizza sauce” was the first thing on the list.
This time I drove over physically, it was also at this point that we realized we were never refunded for the first pizza we received earlier this month. When talking to the manager on shift I told him I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and maybe WE were the ones that had made the mistake. But when we saw the ticket for the ingredients for this order, and the previous order, it was a matter of them not making the pizzas correctly. The manager actually expressed concern for having the same exact mistake twice and confirmed someone in the back must not be reading the orders correctly when making the pizzas. We got confirmation the entire order had been voided and we’d be receiving a refund, then was able to give us cash back on the first order we never got a refund for.
It’s a bummer we’ll never return to this place. We started a tradition of family movie nights on Friday, and this place was our go to for pizza.

The best pizza in South Texas and every thing they have on the whole menu is always amazing. Not to mention the employees always very friendly I would recommend this place very high quality and for the price its well worth it. Tried there lasagna for lunch yesterday without a doubt everything here deserves a 5 star rating one of the best Italian restaurants I’ve ever eaten at in my life.

Great food, but don’t expect to eat without waiting 30-45 minutes for it. Understandable, as it’s a local shop and not some fast food chain. Ordered one of their specials & got the chicken alfredo pasta, buffalo wings, bread, & a pepperoni pizza. So much food & for a great price but was way too much for 2 people (a good problem lol)! Love me some Pizzeria whenever I’m in Edinburg!

Maybe the worst pizza place I’ve ever been to. This is my first rating as a 1 star. Pizza was not much better than eating a cardboard box. Dry, tasteless, crust was terrible. My wife had the lasagna, and it was the worst excuse for lasagna I’ve ever seen . Sorry we picked this place to eat our dinner. We left without hardly eating anything and went home and fixed ourselves another dinner.

This is actually a really nice place to come have dinner and hang out with friends, the atmosphere is great, the employees are amazing. They have the large one topping pizza for $9.99, and $3 the fountain drink. The pizza was good, gave me the taste kind of compared to Peter piper pizza. My kids and I enjoyed it, we will definitely be back soon.
