mine and my son’s food is wrong. I ordered Sweet and Sour Pork n got Chicken and my son order the Hunan Beef and got Garlic Beef. We will not be ordering from here again and call to complain and they cant understand you and talk over you when trying to explain the issues. Food was cold and uncooked and very poorly packaged. One paper bag with 3 food containers, 2 round containers of noodles and soup n sweet n sour sauce. Not gon do it again! This is enuf for me.

Sunrise is my absolute favorite Chinese restaurant in Abilene. A small family owned restaurant, the food is amazing, and prices are lower than most other places. Lunch special is still $7.95, while dinner special is $9.95. Both are a great deal. My favorites are house special Lo Mein, Singapore Mai Fun, and the ever popular Moo Goo Gai Pan. If you enjoy seafood, there are several dishes that are absolutely delicious. The bright orange interior will make you think you’re in China! I always get extra pork egg rolls. The best in town! Give Sunrise a try!

My group of friends was very disappointed with our first experience at Sunrise Chinese Restaurant. One of the employees raised his voice and demanded that we wait and sit at the tables, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful. Additionally, my chicken wings had no flavor or sauce. When I asked a staff member about it, he seemed upset and snatched my bag of food. Both my wings and rice lacked flavor which I had to use Chick-fil-A sauce just to add some taste. On top of that, the tables were very dirty from previous customers. Overall, we were disappointed with the service and the quality of the food.

Came in on Easter Sunday 2022 with my Wife and Mother. My Mother and I got the Happy Family plate. And My Wife got Vegetable Fried Rice and Egg Drop Soup. The Happy Family plate was so good! Ithad Shrimp, Pork, Lobster Meat, Baby Carrots etc. with a delicious sauce! My Wife thoroughly enjoyed the Egg Drop Soup! She also said that her Fried Rice was terrific. Our Waitress was very sweet!We will visit again.
Edit: I forget to mention that the Restaurant is beautiful inside. It has been upgraded since the last time I was there, when a different owner/business ran the building. It was beautifully decorated and peaceful. It was exceptionally clean!!! We had a great dinner.

It had been quite a while since we stopped at Sunrise.
As you can see from the menu, the prices are pretty reasonable.
We ordered 3 egg rolls, 1 spring roll, and a small vegetable fried rice. All was of decent quality.
However, they charged for a large fried rice. The server (and assume, all employees speak limited English. ) must have misunderstood our wanting a small order. I didn’t question it at checkout. I should have pointed at our selection.
We ate most of it anyway.
All in all, it was a nice meal.
