Welcome to The Pizza Slice, serving wood-fired pizza and gelato in Snowshoe, WV! We are located next to Powder Monkey lift and directly across from Western Territory at Snowshoe Mountain. All our pizzas are made-to-order with the freshest ingredients. Our dough is made from scratch in-house daily, and our tomato sauce is also made in-house from imported San Marzano plum tomatoes. We rode our mountain bikes to “The Pizza Slice” which is just feet away from the Western Express chairlift and directly on Snowshoe Dr.
Granted Snowshoe is expensive no matter where you eat so I’m not rating this place based on price. The pizzas are all 12″ pies (small) and start at $17 for plain.
We sat at out front on their patio in the sunshine. In 15 minutes our wood fired brick over pizza was ready. They make their own sauce and dough which my boyfriend and thought was tasty. We enjoyed our pepperoni, mushroom and banana pepper pizza a lot!

They are going to have to come up with a better system. I could see my slice of pizza, and I still waited 58 minutes. It is a busy weekend, but the girl at the register said about 5 minutes.

Just had the worst pizza in my life. If there was more pizza places this place would not exist anymore. $2.5 per topping everything in middle of pizza and some of them they didn’t even put on. We had guests and everyone was filling same but they didn’t wanna really discuss so I don’t feel bad for ordering and choosing. If you want pizza please save your money and time by going somewhere else not here.

Today I went in around noon on 1/20/26 & the guy working the register nose was dripping and he was sniffling. But then took his hand and wiped clear across that runny nose and went right back to working and then asked me how he can help me. Honestly I was grossed out I left directly out. Hopefully Management see’s this & really should fix it.

My $17 caesar salad with trout weighed less than a helium balloon. I was forced to add potato chips to the mix to keep it from floating away. I probably would have been more full eating the styrofoam it was served in.
