Definitely some great pizza going on here. Basil makes some of the best pizza in Jefferson Parish if not the best, and having lived in New York for over 30 years I think I know what I’m talking about. L ots of choices and customizations available and sadly a little known spot but it should really get the accolades it deserves for the quality pies he makes. He knows what he’s talking about visits New York frequently and this is a great spot for pizza, calzones and yes stromboli ‘stuffed bread’! He’s genuinely nice and knowledgeable character and will talk to you at length about what makes a good pizza!

We got the cheese pizza and it had fantastic crust, perfect amount of sauce, and plenty of cheese. Also got the spinach Alfredo bread and the Italian sausage and green pepper bread. Both phenomenal. You can taste the fresh ingredients like the spinach, bell pepper, and onion. Also got the requested marinara and ranch. Haven’t found much good pizza here in New Orleans area. May have finally found my spot. I was disgusted at the pizza options in the area when I first moved here. The locals mistakenly believe that Pizza Hut and dominos (they use provolone!) are good pizza places ♂️

This place is a little gem! The pizza has such an incredible flavor. We got the personal minis. Hubby got supreme and I got the basil pesto Margarita pizzas. The crust is so flavorful and chef said he makes his own pesto sauce. Definitely tastes like it’s made with love! Will most certainly be coming back! ☺️❤️

Pizza is so good here! My kids love to come make their own pizzas. Salads are delicious. The owner makes his own italian sausage which I love! Prices are very reasonable.

ABSOLUTELY the best specialty pizza around! Had both the cauliflower crust with Mediterranean chicken and eggplant crust w/ tomatoes, spinach & artichoke. Pizzas we’re amazing! If you’re allergic to wheat crust, this is a great alternative and so delicious! Owner was very nice and helpful .. RECOMMENDED!

Just left this restaurant for the first time. Some of our clients from New York kept going on about how good pizza was up there so I started looking for the most authentic New York Pizza in new orleans. Well, I found it. The place is talked off in a strip mall off of esplanade. I accidentally passed it up the first time. Once inside, the place definitely gives an authentic New York Pizza vibe. The gentleman at the register said they have been there for 25 years. He’s from a particular area called the bronx. Our clients are from brooklyn, but it’s all the same when it comes to pizza. They all talk about the water and how it affects the crust. I can say, without a doubt, this pizza had some of the best crust of any I’ve tried before and I’ve eaten Pizza at well over 100 different restaurants. I decided to get a modified Supreme today. Roasted garlic instead of green peppers. They have sizes ranging from mini to large. A small was more than enough to fill me up and have a few slices to take home. Pizza did not take long to cook. Absolutely delicious from the first bite. It really did feel like you were talked away from New Orleans while you were in there. Terrific owner. Very informative. Delicious pizza. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend. I’ll definitely be back.

This place has a very good pizza. Their dough has a really nice flavor to it. Maybe Yeasty flavor? Whatever it is, it’s delicious. The service is always very friendly. The food is consistent. The owner is incredibly nice. He always ensure my kids are happy.
