Went to have dinner around 4:30 on 9/13/2025 . It was our first time going. We were greeted by two young girls Who told us we can go in and just pick a seat so we went in and sat down. After about five minutes, I got up and asked if we needed to get our own menus and she said yes we’re not like a regular restaurant. So I got our menus and when I turned around, my boyfriend saw her(tall girl blonde hair ) make a hand gesture and a face to the other girl at the counter And they both laughed. She was obviously frustrated that I asked And acted like oh my God, these people stupid. The girl with the dark hair looked up and saw my boyfriend was watching and turned red and put her head down. We observed this girl, rolling her eyes and making faces at other patrons After they picked up their orders and turned around to leave. if you cannot work with the public, do not do this job.As for the food , we ordered a small pepperoni and cheese pizza. The taste was good, but the texture wasn’t the crust was soft and doughy, almost not cooked enough and had no crunch to it at all. We also ordered the loaded fries and those were very good.

You don’t just stumble into Pizza Nomad at the Center of New England. You’re probably making a Walmart run, picking up mulch at Home Depot, or getting dragged into BJ’s for a “quick” thing that turns into 84 dollars and a tray of muffins. But if you ever tried it, you might find yourself pulling in. Just for a slice.
Inside, there’s a couple of tables, steel chairs, gray walls, and a full suit of medieval armor in the corner. Because, of course there is. The decor feels a bit like it’s still under construction and not quite ready for prime time.
The place just feels comfortable though. It knows what it’s doing, doesn’t need to even tell you about it. No exposed brick, no fancy bulbs, no ironic signs. Just pizza. And…the chips.
Oh man, the chips. The surprise of the chef just coming out from the back to set down a tray of fresh, still-glistening potato chips. Doesn’t say a word. Doesn’t have to. They’re super hot, they’re impossibly crisp, they’re perfectly salted. Not a gimmick, not a side dish you ordered. Just a way to say you’re appreciated.
Then the pizza comes a few minutes later. It isn’t Neapolitan floaty. It’s not a bar pie. It’s somewhere in the middle. The crust’s got that perfect char and blister, crunches at the edge, and stands out straight. It’s kind of a hybrid of a crackery bar pie and a New York style. On the thin end of medium thick. It’s built for flavor, not engineering.
The cheese is front and center, but it’s not a sloppy mess. It’s balanced. The sauce cuts through clean and bright. And the pepperoni? Those little curled cups, glistening, with just enough spice to remind you why it’s a classic. Nothing’s fighting for the spotlight. Everything’s working together. You can taste the thought that went into it.
You eat it slow, not because you’re trying to be fancy, but because you just want it to last. One pie is enough for two hungry people, maybe three if you’re being polite.
And the staff? No scripts. No fake cheerleading. Just real people moving like they’ve been doing this for years, and concerned about getting it right. They aren’t polished, they’re just nice.
Across the street, another pizza place stares over at Nomad. And honestly, with that knight standing there? It feels like a budding culinary Highlander situation. There can be only one, Nomad.
And for now, Nomad’s got the high ground. The food’s good, the welcome’s warm, and those things add up to something that you remember.
Go for the pizza. Stay for the chips. Try it and let me know what you think.

Get the NY System wieners! Awesome awesome awesome. Expect cumin-chili taste over the usual celery-salty. Way better. I get mine no onions. Best Wieners around.

I’ve ordered Pizza from both the Coventry and West Warwick location many times now. I was really excited when I heard the Coventry location was opening so I had to give it a shot. It did not disappoint! I ordered the “Great Divide Stuffed Crust” pizza, half Death by Buffalo half Macheesius Maximus (Mac & Cheese) with scallions. It was awesome! My wife loved her grilled chicken salad and fries too. I highly recommend checking it out. They have a ton of different pizzas to try. This is probably my favorite local pizza place now!

First time ordering here and wasn’t overly impressed. Ordered online and specifically asked for no olives on the salad. Salad was full of olives and solid pieces of lettuce that could not be cut let alone bitten. Hopefully it was just an off night.

*** update, received a message offering to make it right the same evening. Excellent customer service. Thank you!

The pizza nomad on centre of new England is a joke. We ordered a great divide with the backyard BBQ and Alfredo. I almost choked on a chicken bone. I call and the young girl manager gives me a bunch of bs. She asks me to send her a picture of the bone which I do and she tells me they only use tenders and it was just really hard skin. We then proceeded to the store to show her in person and she still claimed it wasn’t possible. She talked to the owner and could give us a replacement but who wants that after a chicken bone. What if a child had choked on that? You are going to try to tell them it’s hard skin? Will never ever order from there again. Would put all no stars if I could

Thank you to the employees of Pizza Nomad. I was waiting for a DoorDash order and when they stayed open late to make it, they gave me a leftover slice of pizza and a can of ginger ale. They were friendly and kept me comfortable. The pizza is really good and I’ll probably have enough for breakfast.

Tonight was the third time I’ve ordered from Pizza Nomad. The first two times I ordered take out, my pizza was fantastic. I ordered pizza to go tonight and I was disappointed. The crust was thin and the pizza was over cooked and dry. Because I had great pizza the first two times I don’t think it’s fair to leave a poor rating. I’m just hoping that when I get pizza next time it’s better.

I have been to both the West Warwick and Coventry location. West Warwick is takeout where Coventry has tables that you can dine at. They have a lot of choices on both the variety of food options and pizza toppings. My family likes the pizza and my wife and myself really enjoy their nachos. The war hammers are also something that you should try as well.

Have been getting pizza from the other location for years and was excited to try this location out since I go to the walmart nearby a lot. Got the mac and cheese pizza and it was so so delicious, mac and cheese was creamy and flavor was on point. The pizzas here are always a hit for me
