We have had pizza twice from here and decided to try calzones (with the “Man Pizza” toppings) the last time. Each time the food was great and the staff were friendly. We ate in once and picked up the other two times and service was always quick. I love that there is a drive-thru for pickup orders. We will definitely be back!

The hubs and I stopped by this place out of the blue around lunchtime. The food was good and hot and the service was great. I loved their Stromboli and Apple Pizza. My husband liked his personal pan pizza and that there is an arcade in the back. The parking sucks so it may be tricky depending on when you go. We’ll definitely be back though.

Ordered from here tonight first time. Did a to go order app said 45 minutes. Turned into 1.5 hours for pickup. There is a reason why. Everyone in Clover SC has ordered pizza because it’s so good. We had calzones the presentation was amazing. The taste properly the best I have ever eaten. I will return soon and the wait was worth it.

Nice surprise. This was our first time trying The Pizza Man. It would be easy to drive right past this unassuming location.
I went here with 3 generations of family and everyone enjoyed. We tried their wings, stromboli, pizza, and subs. No complaints on anything and 4 thumbs up we would be back again . Most impressive is that other guest photos and food we received looked the same. A great indicator of consistency and not having to use props for food to look good.
To top it off every staff member we interacted with were friendly and helpful. I believe the owner greeted us and gave us run down of specials, the cashier, and the worker from the back who got us boxes for leftovers. Thank you all for great service at a counter service restaurant. There are a few sit down sites that should come here for training.

Good food and prices , first visit , had the no bread bowl and it was very good , also had the one visit salad bar and it was also very good , nice having a salad bar in Clover , noticed a pick up window which is convenient, very friendly staff , hope to be back to try the pizza, thank you !

Update: Annette from Pizza Man just contacted me and is crediting me for the mistake.
Update #2: I was never credited. My bank account was never refunded nor did my pizza man account have a credit amount and they have since changed ordering platforms.
I’ll give them another shot because we want to support our hometown’s local businesses and not every business tries to right the wrongs and that alone is much appreciated.

This is the third time recently that I have ordered from Pizza Man and not been satisfied because my order was WRONG.
Today I ordered two EXTRA large pizzas and received just large for both
One pizza was supposed to have half mushroom and olives AND extra cheese and it OBVIOUSLY DID NOT have extra cheese.
My other pizza was supposed to be pepperoni with half of it with mushrooms & olives and it also had green pepper. What if we had an allergy to peppers?
I hadn’t eaten all day so I wasn’t about to wait for them to remake them but I’m going to learn this lesson and just start driving the extra 5 minutes to Bellacino’s in Gastonia so I can get what I actually paid for.

This is the third time i have been here thinking it will get better each time. But no. For some odd reason i ask for crispy and even say please. And they both come out like play-dough ..Oh. Don’t let me forget. That was after i asked for them to be cooked some more. So out of a 40.tab the crispiest thing i got was the lettuce and paper bag. But the chef salad was amazing!!

6 months later, 12/30/23…had their pizza 2x in the past month and a half, and am now disappointed in the pizza. It went from great to now a ton of sauce and less cheese! I don’t understand why it changed. Took off a star from my original review. Boo.
I did also try their pepperoni Stromboli (2nd photo), and that was yummy! It’s much better than the pizza we ordered today (pepperoni pizza). Sad that the pizza has changed since we went this summer.
