We stopped here after backpacking and we LOVED it. 1/2lb burgers were just what we needed, plus they had a ton of other options and alternative sides like fried zucchini and fried onions instead of fries. They even have impossible burger patties as an option for any of their burgers. I wish I could give the service 6 stars. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. We laughed with the owner and our server made non-alcoholic sodas when were excited about their mimosa flavors but didn’t want booze. (Yes, several mimosa flavors including: passion fruit, huckleberry, peach, and more) Even the cook came out to share his favorite mug with us. The signs all over the walls made us chuckle and feel welcome. Clearly a beloved local spot.

A little gem! They accommodated our group of 10 with friendly service and great food. All of the staff members were phenomenal. The food options were plentiful and everything we had was delicious and came out hot. Be sure to get the onion rings and fried zucchini–they were a favorite! We will definitely be back the next time we are in the area!

The BEST breakfast and lunch place in Mi Wuk and surrounding areas. Everything is wonderful but our favorite breakfasts are the California and Linguica omelettes. Breakfasts and lunches are big, so come hungry. The folks there are super nice and friendly. The do take reservations and the place is not huge, so not a bad idea to make reservations. Definitely stop and enjoy if you’re in the area.

I wanted to give this place 5 stars before we even tasted our food. Excellent service, kid friendly, and they were very conscious about food allergies. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. And the food was delicious.

This cafe was such a blessing for our family on our way back home from camping . The food was so delicious, the atmosphere and people made you feel at home . Burgers were so juicy and their homemade ranch was amazing with the huge onion rings and zucchini sticks. The Piney Cone Cafe will be forever part of our trip stop for good food when camping in the beautiful Serria Mountains. #MIWUK
