Awful food, sorry to say. Order through insta cart, the meat, and the fried okras, except from the bread and corn, extremely expensive for the bad quality of the food. I would not recommend the place to eat or takeout.

Getting to expensive for the food quality. I’ve been coming here for more than 25 yrs and they food has always been excellent but lately it’s not as good and they close before their close time if you close at 9pm don’t tell me at 830 I can’t order because your closing. And don’t start mopping why I’m eating so now all I smell is chemicals

Talk about an amazing hole-in the wall, local BBQ spot! We were driving through Jacksonville and decided we had to try this place. I had the rib plate with Mac and cheese and collard greens. Ribs were amazing! Smoky flavor and tender! Greens were delicious! Tried the chicken and it was incredible! Definitely stop in and try this place!!

It was a good $15 learning experience. Had to wait 30 minutes for my take out to start with. It was the small 3 bone rib dinner. They should really emphasize the small. Gave them an opportunity to correct the problem. They chose not to. I’m very sorry I’ve been going there over 40 years. That was the last time.☹️

This was DISGUSTING and the ribs were salty! The Mac and cheese taste like frozen Mac and cheese warmed up. Wasn’t homemade at ALL. The greens were okay but how can you mess up can greens thats also not homemade. This was a disappointment and I Highly DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Tried to call in my order for pick up – was on hold 13 minutes – walked in while still on hold – 3 people @1 table – the only customers! My food was HORRIBLE!! I ordered 3 rib dinner to go. The 3 plates that came out while I was waiting had beautiful ribs – mine were nubs & half fat!!! Fries were NOT done, I had to finish cooking them!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! Chicken Tenders Plate arrived with tiny nuggets, not fingers. I will not order again. this looks like a child’s serving and not a tender plate. Large Rib Plate, paid extra for ceter cut, very thin ribs..not worth the priceamd dry.
