During Memorial Day, while exploring the bustling Wildwood Boardwalk, I stumbled upon Pierogi Place among the many stores. Intrigued, I decided to try their original pierogi, which was generously filled with delectable potato and cheese. The staff suggested complementing it with their chili oil, and the combination was truly fantastic! If I find myself on the boardwalk again, I will definitely make a point to stop by Pierogi Place once more.

Delicious vegan cheddar and potato pierogies! Only bummer was that none of the toppings were vegan, and there was a lot of oil on the pierogies, but they had a great flavor and texture. And so lovely to have a vegan option on the boardwalk! The other flavors all have butter or other forms of dairy.

Excellent pierogies here, prices are a little high, but they’re directly on the boardwalk so it makes sense. The value and taste is worth the money. My favorite has to be the potato onion, but they have many other different options to choose from and toppings. A very good vegetarian and vegan friendly place, one of the pierogies even has vegan cheddar cheese.

Been coming down for a while and getting these every year but a little disappointed this year! Ordered 10 last night and found a bench to sit n eat them and they were barely warm. We couldn’t even finish them. We had to take them back to our hotel to heat them up to eat the rest!!! For 20 bucks i would expect they would be hot.

Delightful staff, very nice pierogies that are more substantial than sugar based goodies found elsewhere on the boardwalk. There’s a nice variety of different or traditional style pierogi flavors as well as sweet options, but they aren’t fresh, homemade from the nice Ukrainian church ladies, and they weren’t piping hot from their holding containers rather than coming straight from the kitchen instead, but they would certainly be my preference of food choice when I come back after having walked the length of the boardwalk of choices. They also had a nice assortment of toppings that can go on top or on the side. My favorite was the bacon cheese pierogi because it was different. It was smokey and not chunky or chewy with bacon bits and paired well with the sour cream, applesauce and onions we had selected for direct toppings. I would definitely return to try the sweet varieties. I had tried the 5 for $9 and tried 5 different flavors instead of 5 of one flavor. Would recommend that way so you can have a rounded experience as well, enjoy!

Boardwalk food is generally underwhelming. The Pierogi place is exceptional. My wife and I were there late Saturday night. We loved the potato and sauerkraut pierogis we bought. My wife said it reminded her of her grandma’s homemade pierogi when she was a little girl… that’s the highest compliment If we weren’t leaving town early Sunday, we would have brought a some home. We also liked the woman who served us. We’ll be back in August!

Got them last year and had to come back again. I took them to go to eat them today and they’re just as good as they are fresh out! I got the chili sauce and it was very spicy as explained but had such a great taste which a lot of places can’t do with their hotter sauces! 10/5 stars. Very welcoming family owned business.
