Trendy ambiance and unique decor are great, I mean who doesn’t love an experience? But it takes more than a fun aesthetic to make customers happy and keep them coming back. Last Saturday as a party of one I was directed to sit at the bar or a high top. Sat for just under 10 mins without service. I ended up asking a hostess about ordering. I wasn’t sure if we order through a QR code, either way I wasn’t given a menu. Not off to a good start. Guests shouldn’t have to lean over other guests sitting at the bar to order food. I got the vibe they may have been understaffed.

Online looked great, so we decided to stop by. A nice restaurant with a good vibe & friendly staff. Service was good so we “knew” the food was going to be great when we saw the presentation. The country fried steak was disappointing. A 4 inches wide, two inches thick piece of dry-hard meat covered in a dark and greasy batter. The Fish was dry. The side dishes were bland & the brussels sprouts brutally undercooked. Everything else was good. The food just fell short by a very long mile. Updating on 6/2/2023 and after an email from the restaurant. Ordered the same dishes as on our previous visit. Service and ambiance were solid. Restaurant as clean and elegant as it was on our first visit. The food, this time around was worst than the first visit a year ago. If you mess up a country fried steak and fries in the south, that’s an issue.

Delicious food, great cocktails, and very nice atmosphere. Our waitor was prompt and very friendly. He was capable of making recommendations and reacting quickly if things needed immediate attention. We’re not from the area, but we would like to visit again in the future.

I thoroughly enjoyed the quaint atmosphere at this restaurant! The brussel sprouts were so good and the portions were very large. My husband ordered the burger and it was cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The restaurant is a short walk away from the Cambria hotel and it is the perfect date night spot if you’re visiting the area!

My boyfriend and I went here for dinner and it was BEAUTIFUL on the inside. Love the dark green paint, the bookshelves and the greenery that hangs above the bar. We made reservations and were quickly sat. Our server came right over and filled our glasses with water. She was very friendly and bubbly. I ordered a peach drink from the bar and my boyfriend ordered a black cherry sour. I was nervous to order a drink with peach syrup because a lot of the time, it’s too sweet and syrupy. I was pleasantly surprised at how well balanced the drink was. The entire experience was incredibly seamless and well balanced. For apps, we ordered the oyster mushrooms and New Awlins shrimp toast. The shrimp toast was spicy and delicious and the oysters had the perfect amount of seasoning on them. Not too charred but crispy. For entrees, my boyfriend ordered the pulled pork sammy with fries and I ordered the creole chicken linguine. The sandwich was huge! Great portion and the fries were crispy. My linguine was so savory and had the classic creole spice to it. Lastly, we ordered the S’mores tart to go. You should definitely get the tart. A perfect portion for two if you haven’t saved room for dessert. Overall, the experience was flawless. Can’t wait to go back.

Such great sandwiches, starters, and cocktails! We’re always pleased with our food when we stop in. Make sure to try the warm banana pudding! That stuff is life-changing! And be sure to ask for Devin, she’s a fantastic server and is always so sweet to us ❤️

Great overall place. Our service, cocktails and atmosphere were great! Homemade sauces and dressings are amazing. Cheering BBQ and white BBQ were great. The smoked wings tasted good but I felt we didn’t get our money’s worth as the wings were literally as small as my thumb. I have never seen wings that small. I would probably not serve that appetizer until upgrading wing size. If supply chain is causing the issue, I’d remove until rectified.

We’ve had lunch here several times and have always had a good experience. Service is always great, food is always hot, fresh, and a good selection—not the same ole’ stuff you find elsewhere in town.
