This bar and restaurant offers so much. If you haven’t been there recently, it’s changed a lot. There is twice as much patio area to come off the river or just sit in the sun. Don’t forget to feed the carp as any little French fry or piece of bread will bring them to the surface. There is a large private room upstairs great for company, small group, or private events equipped with private bar. If you’re looking for more to do they have poker, pull tabs, pool, darts, and more. And that’s just the location. Come here if you want a real drink. They muddle and create drinks to your order. Due to the light staff, when people come off the river in droves, service will slow down as the pour for tops of 8+ people.

One of our favorite spots to stop by and eat after enjoying a day on the Missouri River. The service is fantastic! We are able to refuel our boat and get some delicious food for ourselves. We love to enjoy our drinks and food out on the patio! It’s so relaxing and the perfect way to end our day on the river! Try the Southport burger and Southport signature mojito, you will not be disappointed!

If I could rate this a 0 I would. The OWNER came out and yelled at us when we told her our order was messed up. I get things happen especially since I have a bar and gril with my family as well, but to have the owner, come out and yell at 5 people across the patio outside seating area is ridiculous. It’s uncalled for and very unprofessional. We waited probably 1hour and 45 minutes for food when there was maybe two other tables sitting outside. Very sad first experience
