Service was very slow. We originally sat outside and about boiled with the west sun. The place would benefit from roll down shades or more umbrellas better situated for reasonable shade.
Waiter needed training. Didn’t remember what beers they had and we tried to order a few beers before finally finding one they had. Why can’t there be a list or knowledge of beer availability?
Five of us ordered and four had mistakes on their meals, one fries instead of tater tots, one got French Dip that didn’t have cheese, one missing slaw that didn’t ever come.
Ordered a key line drink but got a plain margarita and was about dehydrated so just accepted it. We moved inside. We had to request refills or additional drinks by flagging down or calling or asking for the apparently single young male waiter.
Food was pretty good but not what ordered.
We swatted flys constantly, sadly both inside and out.
We were embarrassed by the service and not from these parts but had asked three to join us for a total of five, and because things were so mediocre just thought it best to buy everyone’s meal.
Could be a nice place to go but certainly not when there is west sun and not if one is in a hurry

This bar and restaurant offers so much. If you haven’t been there recently, it’s changed a lot. There is twice as much patio area to come off the river or just sit in the sun. Don’t forget to feed the carp as any little French fry or piece of bread will bring them to the surface. There is a large private room upstairs great for company, small group, or private events equipped with private bar. If you’re looking for more to do they have poker, pull tabs, pool, darts, and more. And that’s just the location. Come here if you want a real drink. They muddle and create drinks to your order. Due to the light staff, when people come off the river in droves, service will slow down as the pour for tops of 8+ people.
Definitely check out, always very chill.

We got to there about 7:30pm and it was super busy. We sat there for over 20 minutes before anyone asked if we’ve been helped. Our waiter said they sent home a waiter just a bit again. I can’t believe they sent a waiter home because it was busy inside, outside, and at the bar. It’s summer time! People are coming and going off the river. We ordered an appetizer and a pizza (no alcohol drinks) and it took over an hour to get our food. Our appetizer was cold and our pizza was very, very burnt. However, our waiter was wonderful! He was running and sweating like crazy trying to make sure all the customers were good. Would not recommend, especially with kids. Will not be returning.

I was profiled right away when I got here, the owner was very aggressive toward me and my family. I soon noticed I was the only Hispanic at this place at the time (my husband is Caucasian) She was very openly pleasant with every other table and was denying service to our table. After we ordered drinks we soon left because we can felt the tension of her service towards us. We are from Colorado and always come here when we visit family because our kids can feed the fishes but we never have had this terrible of service. Another waiter even apologized about the owner being so rude to us. We will never come back.

I visited The Pier on the 4th and we had such a great experience. Our food was delicious and our server, Lilly, was very attentive even to the ones in our party who were just drinking water. They were very busy and and all kept a smile on their faces and we never felt their stress. We even saw a young man fueling boats and running food, working with a broken arm and keeping up with it all. We will continue to go back again and again!

The food was superb. Mahi-mahi sandwich, and it was memorable. Friendly service, fun atmosphere, slightly crowded, grown-up centered.

We came to The Pier today as a family, 10 of us. We knew they were busy, so we said no problem, we’ll split into two tables, keep everything separate, be respectful of their space. That’s just who we are.
But the attitude we got in return?
Unreal.
The woman who approached us, and we later found out she’s the owner, was cold, short, and rude from the jump. Every interaction felt like we were being scolded, not served.
Can we order a few drinks for the table?
“No.”
Can we adjust a high chair for safety?
“No.”
Can we pull two tables together so the grandparents can sit by the kids?
“No, it blocks the walkway.”
She scoldded us for touching an umbrella stand, “don’t even think of moving that umbrella!” Like what? Why would I move a giant umbrella.
The kicker? The table next to us had two pushed together. Less room. Against a wall. But apparently that was fine. We weren’t.
We weren’t rude. We didn’t push. We just asked. And got shut down, not with kindness or
explanation, but with a clear message: You’re not welcome here today. Day after the fourth, hangover? Not sure what the issue was
Even our actual server quietly apologized and said, “Yeah… she’s the owner. I’m sorry.”
We ended up not ordering food. Not because we were trying to be difficult, because sitting there, with our kids, just trying to enjoy a rare day together, and being treated like that… it sucked the joy out of it, The view was beautiful. The vibe? Ruined. We won’t be back
