This was a nice place in silvertone. Chairs were small and so was the place. Seating is limited and they choose were to sit you. Crowded between tables it felt like. Old type of country type of style and vine. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Prices are overrated and not worth eating here. Decent food not anything great to come again.

Came here to visit in between trains. Approx 10 minute wait to be seated. The wait after ordering our food was approx 20-30 minutes. Then the server admit he forgot to send our order in to the cook. Said it would be ready in a couple minutes. Finally had to opt out of dining inside and requested our food to go. Server took the cost off our drinks: hot cocoa, iced tea and a beer. Took another 10 minutes to finally get our food. Our time between the trains was mostly waiting at Pickle Barrell. Did not get the chance to see the Town. Absolutely ruined our experience in Silverton. Food was mediocre, not unique. Ordered a hotdog for the kid, barely any chips for the side. I had the Portebello Sandwich, hardly and flavor – barely gave any coleslaw. My grandfather didn’t even eat his entre as he was highly irritated. The ketchup condiments they gave us were on the verge of bursting.

Stopped in for coffee and dessert. Great service and wonderful food. The berry pie is the best we have ever had and the whiskey sauce bread pudding is worth the trip alone!!

Waited right outside the door for our name to be called, 10 – 15 monute wait. Started noticing people going in after we arrived. Went in and asked a out it. He said “I called your name, you weren’t here.” He lied. I was sitting right by the door. He called several names of people who weren’t there, but not ours.
Handlebar’s happily took our money.

Website prices aren’t even close to actual costs, fries soggy, meat dry, definitely a store bought roll and not handmade, gave me my peppers/onions on the side with no lid or covering, service was 50/50. IMO not even close to worth what it costs us.

We stopped in Silverton for lunch after riding the Durango train. Ordered a chicken sandwich and veggie sandwich and the staff generously customized it to our needs. The place had quite the setup true to its name. Definitely recommend this place!!
