Pretty, pretty, pretty good. I went with the Chatham County “Que”ban sammy and the best chips in the land (Carolina Kettle Coastal Crab Boil) and orange drank. The sandwich was solid. Q was kind of bland, but maybe I hit them on on off day. Definitely going back for breakfast next time I’m in the area as the breakfast menu looks phenomenal.

Phoenix Bakery – Pittsboro. I recently had another “first” when I stumbled on this bakery. I don’t live in Pittsboro and wasn’t sure where it was located. Now I do! Right off Business Route 64 West about a mile and a half from the Pittsboro circle (on the righthand side). I liked the outside of their building and was pleasantly surprised by the cozy inside. Very homey feel, clean, friendly, and the fresh baked goods aroma was wonderful! I was on my way out of town and had already eaten breakfast but I couldn’t resist their cheddar dill/herb biscuit- which was delicious! All the baked goods in the cases looked fresh and tempting – a variety of homemade donuts, biscuits, cakes, pastries, breads, etc. They also serve made to order breakfast sandwiches and have a Lunch sandwich menu, too. Side note: they are also an “Elmira” vintage-styled appliance dealer. I will be back!

Went here for breakfast this Sunday morning, 3rd time here.First two times it was just average,..got some donuts and pastries for the office…it was good just nothing extraordinary..This time we ordered bagels with bacon egg and cheese and french toast, and let me say it was unfortunately not appetizing…the french toast was a very thin bread, no cinnamon…just had no flavor, just felt like a soggy undercooked white bread. The bacon egg and cheese on the everything bagel was good. I drink alot of coffee and felt this places coffee was excessively bitter. Will give them another final try as alot of people gave a great review .I just don’t see it yet…or should say have not “tasted ” it yet.

We are so glad we went with The Phoenix for our wedding cake. Magi was amazing and easy to work with. We had 5 different flavors of cake and it was a huge hit — so many guests went back for seconds to try another flavor and we received so many rave reviews!! We had fun trying different cupcake flavors and we were grateful the bakery had cake stands for rent and local delivery available. Overall, a really enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

Outstanding Cakes! We have custom ordered several decorative cakes from Phoenix and we are always so impressed by the quality of their cakes. If you haven’t tried their cakes, you owe it to yourself. Don’t waste time/money, call Phoenix.

What a jewel of a place! Tucked away a mile and a half from Camp Roayall, and nearly 2 hours from Charlotte I truly wish I could teleport there every morning. The homey farmhouse feel was eclectic, clean, and inviting. The staff were friendly and helpful. Most importantly, the goodies were absolutely delectable! We got snickerdoodles, chocolate chip cookies, molasses cookies, gingersnaps, pineapple upside-down pastry, cinnamon and sugar twist, oatmeal cream pie. Everything was fresh; not too sweet and full of flavor. My personal favorites were the molasses and snaps. My goodness! Before we even left the parking lot, my teenaged neice and I both went back for more snickerdoodles and molasses cookies. If you’re ever in Pittsboro, make sure you treat yourself! (I wish I had more photos).
