Great service, delicious food. Lunch time wasn’t busy, and there were many families with children of all ages. The kids’ menu was perfect for any kids 10 yrs and under. Perfect cocktails from the bar, the appetizer options are good for one or many to enjoy. The giant burgers are very juicy, and they have a great char flavor with many options. All the meats are very tender and smoked perfectly. We look forward to returning to enjoy the live music from 6:30-9p.

We are from Kansas City and it’s hard to find a good BBQ place here in town. For Sparks and North Reno this is the best place we have tried. The ribs were good, the brisket isn’t KC style but it’s delicious, moist, and tender! The Mac n Cheese with meat on top was decadent and also fantastic. I liked the little cornbread with the sugar butter. The beans were tasty too, a lot of places forget to make good sides. However, the sides here were great! The coleslaw was creamy. The spinach dip had a good garlic cheesy flavor. The chili was meaty and thick. The services was nice. The place was clean and well styled inside.

This is the first time that we have been here. Came here for my 61st birthday. Bbq wings are the best I have ever had. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was also excellent. This is by far, my new favorite place to go to now. Thank you for a memorable birthday [ July 27 ].

Omg when I say their cornbread was amazing !!! I am a cornbread snob lol . The BBQ is amazing and their Mac & cheese I got was delicious , next time I will try the Mac & Cheese with brisket on top as suggested. I tried them at the nugget rib cook off. Give them a try, their customer service was amazing I will be back to try them out in person. I will be back

Heff is an honest owner with a heart for good food, and the food is absolutely delicious and homemade… The Phoenix establishment has everything you could possibly want, and all your needs are met from customer service to good homemade food. None of that government garbage food but truly real authentic of God food. This gem of an establishment is worth every penny you can muster. Very affordable, so we got the motherlode, and it was only $20-$30 at most, and that dish will feed an entire baseball team. Chandeliers are in the women’s bathroom!!! Need I say more? The bathrooms feel more like an office and are extremely clean. Wine tasting and a center stage where bands can play music like a mini concert. Plenty of seating and very comfortable chairs plus outside dining with plenty of shade and trees and umbrellas for shade all day long. Wheelchair accessibility is available. Very classy yet retro and modern all in one in this Gem in Sparks Nevada at the Legends complex. Please visit this place and come eat REAL FOOD… Thank you, Heff… I know you will read this, and I want you to know that your service today was exactly what my brother needed today. You never know what tragedy someone might be going through, and you have truly made my brother very happy… I can’t say what happened, but just know you made us feel like home papa Heff with a good homemade meal. Got the giant Phoenix burger. Was decent but the brisket was dried. Probably a 4 if not for that. Fries were crispy.

Great environment but mediocre food at best. If you’re look for a place to socialize they seem to have a good environment but the bbq is dry.
I got the 50$ platter that comes with half chicken half rack of ribs brisket and pulled pork. Sides and biscuit
Pulled pork is tasteless and dry they trout bbq sauce on top and that helps but still dry
Rack of ribs not tender little tough and chewy
Chicken is ok
Brisket is ok
But to be completely it’s at great deal at 50$ the foods just not amazing. I would rather pay a little more to have better food or get less but have it be phenomenal.
Does have a great atmosphere and the people working were nice. I would do to hang out with buds but not specifically to eat.

Wonderful welcoming atmosphere with delicious food! The staff and location are amazing. We had two families in our group, traveling thru…we will come back just to eat here! Amazing menu, something for everyone. Staff are the best around! Enjoy it!

We were so excited to try this place; you see the sign they post “best ribs in town”! Far from the truth. We wanted to order beer but menu didn’t show drinks and we weren’t close enough to the bar to see the taps, I asked for a drink menu. She brought me a one page sheet which listed about 5 specialized mixed cocktails, nothing else. So I had to get up and walk over by the bar to see what they offered.
I then ordered 1/4 rack of ribs and wasn’t expecting more than 3 ribs but what I received was closer to 1.5! When the waitress didn’t ask me what sauce I wanted should have been my first clue. I don’t like coleslaw so I asked if I could substitute for a side salad as the menu listed it as a side. No, for an extra charge? I had choice of double beans or potato salad, which I chose. Dinner finally came and you can see from the picture how disappointed I was. I finally had to flag our waitress and ask why no sauce… she asked me which flavor and I said, idk – what are my choices. She brought me 3 little cups of 3 flavors. I had to flag her again for butter, which is also pictured. The cornbread had to of been the $1 Jiffee you can buy in the store. My meal was luke-warm; beans were hard. When they brought our bill I about fell on the floor! My husband ordered the French Dip and I wish I had taken a picture. Meat was so dry he couldn’t eat it. HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. Owner seemed to be more concerned with live entertainment than the restaurant. Take my review and don’t waste your time or money. Total cost for 2 of us was $75.
