Great find! Very authentic cheesesteak for sure. The roll was perfectly thin, the chopped bits of steak (ribeye) I believe was charred perfectly and the crunchy crinkle cuts completed the meal. I opted for provolone instead of cheese whiz and had the cheese been blended in with the meat instead of on top this would have been 5 stars! Great service, price is closer to the high point for a steak sandwich but it was very good! I would return for sure! Enjoy!

Monstrous portions and served by a friendly staff. Got the mushroom cheese steak. So many toppings and very delicious. Strawberry milkshakes are delicious, just enough whipped cream on top with two cherries. BF got the cheese steak fries, these were also delicious, topped with cheese, steak, jalapenos, with a side of sour cream, yum. However, crab fries are only seasoned fries and not actual crab fries. There’s no crab on the fries, which is something you’d expect there to be. This place can be very expensive. We wanted to try different things and ended up spending over $80 including the tip.

First time trying, and got order through door dash. Let’s start with wish the roll was a little more well done, but I’m sure if I asked they would’ve done it. Now for the good, and dang it was good. First of all, have never had a door dash order get delivered from 5 miles away and be that hot, it was almost like it was still cooking on the way to me, and what’s crazy is the door dasher had trouble finding me. Every bite seemed to get better and better, until I got full, which was about a half in. The fries were perfectly seasoned, and maybe could’ve been a tad bit more well done, but again that’s on me, but they were so good. I have driven by many times, and have thought about stopping but never did, so I want to thank all of the past customers who wrote so many 5 * reviews because that’s what got me in there, but Philly Special, this amazing cheesesteak is what’s going to make me come back and be a frequent customer. This lunch made me very happy, and can’t wait to try more of the menu.

First time here and I can say it’s one of the better cheesesteaks I’ve had in a while. Initially thought the price was a little high but when I saw the amount of steak it came with, I was pleasantly surprised. The fries were just okay, the cheesesteak is what you want to get. Definitely recommend if in the area.

I ordered online and when I arrived I realized I forgot to click no onions on my philly. I offered to pay for a new one to be made but they said no and remade it without onions.
They were amazing just as there food is! I’ll definitely be back!
They let me keep the first philly and I gave it to good neighbors of mine. They loved it and and couldn’t believe how nice they were at The Philly Special!

Firstly, some form of hidden pricing
yes I should have spoke up before it was purchased but four sauces Really was near 7 dollars without any prices shown on the actual menu + I was not told at the register that they were priced as such
(First picture shown is the quantity of sauce given for nearly seven dollars.)
My what should have been 33 dollar order shot up to a 40 dollar order then 44 + tax.
Then, once accepting that I paid for this and taking it home to eat it, the philly cheese steak was not good.
Firstly The Right Side was devoid of mayonnaise, and had barely any cheese for some reason. The steak also was not able to save that side when it was devoid of such ingredients.
But for some reason I get to the left side, It has the mayo and a little more cheese for some reason? And Even more mayonnaise than usual as I ate a strange pocket of mayonnaise in the bottom of the left side as shown in the second picture.
TL : DR
7 dollar sauce with no shown price on the menu (atleast from what i saw)
philly cheese steak was not even that great as of my initial visit.
Edit: I edited this review to be less Irate and harsh, I am obviously not mad about this anymore and I will call your number in the reply.

If you’ve been to Philly or are from Philly, then you know this is the real deal. The traditional Philly cheesesteak with Cheese Whiz is delicious; HOWEVER, the one with provolone and grilled mushrooms also slaps and might be my favorite LOL The crabby fries are addictive. You can go there just for the fries and still be happy.
