Came here with a friend and really enjoyed it. The place has a nice modern American vibe with a slightly vintage feel. The inside is pretty dim, but in a cozy way, and I like that you can see the brewery in the back through the glass walls. Our waitress was super nice and l funny. I ordered the turkey burger and it was so good, insanely flavorful, and the coleslaw paired well. My friend got the brisket sandwich and devoured it. Overall, everything was great and I’d definitely come back to try out their specials next time.

A must when visiting the Chicago Wicker Park neighborhood! A friend and I came here on a Monday night looking for flavorful weekday eats and The Perch did not disappoint. We started off with a glass of wine accompanied by the Bacon and potatoe croquetes… we immediately knew this place was a hit!

As out entree, we elected to enjoy the steak frites with a shareable side of asparagus. The steak was tender and cook to a perfect medium rare. The asparagus was soft and cooked to perfection topped with lemon.

Finally, the dessert!! Carrot cake being my favorite cake was the immediate election. Warm and Perry cake to frosting ration. Truly a place to go if you are unsure what to have for dinner. Special shout out to Brice and Manager Erika, they were attentive and had amazing recommendations for two first-timers!

My wife and I have been here several times and we love it. I decide to share this because I highly recommend this place. We love the atmosphere and food, my wife orders the salad and I have the 1/2 chicken. Both were superb.

Had a great time here, mid afternoon meeting with a client, he suggested here, atmosphere was nice, service was good- and they were careful to interrupt our conversation, which is an overlooked virtue as far as I am concerned! We both liked our beer, the Flights are fantastic, and the laid back vibe was perfect for this occasion. Good pricing, and I will be back to try some food, everything I saw looked really good!

Lively restaurant in a row of eating places in East Village. Seating outside as well as lots of room inside. Potato and bacon croquettes were tasty. Rotisserie chicken was also tasty with a great rub on the skin. The breast was too dry to eat. Good mashed potatoes and sauce. Tuna salad was excellent, perfectly cooked and nicely dressed greens. The ribs were a bit disappointing, cooked so that all the fat had rendered off and the sauce was a bit ordinary. Fries were good though. Service and beer were very good, waiter was friendly and efficient. Good place to go for a casual dinner with friends.

I came here with my family (2 adults – 1 child), on a Sunday around 1:30pm of a long weekend. It was the only place we didn’t need a reservation, and could just walk in off the street.

The vibe is that of an upscale restaurant but the food didn’t meet that vibe.

The service was good until we wanted to leave and it took a while to get the check and get the check processed.

The food was okay, like most places on this strip it was like a chain with beyond average food, overly sweet, overly salty. We started with the monkey bread, it was far too sweet for my liking, it could have used a victory of salt in it instead it was overly cinnamony and sugary. They did have kid options and kid cups which was a welcomed surprise.

For a meal I got a burger, definitely not fresh, and if it is something went awry. The fries were also just okay.

Overall I wouldn’t come back here but it was not the worst food.

My niece and I dined there last week. Our server (I think Parker?) was so kind and friendly. We brought the doggies with and they were treated royally.
The corn bread was KILLER along with cucumber smash. We ended up splitting the fabulous bang-bang salad for dinner and ordered the key lime pie for dessert which was one of the best I’ve ever had. Great experience and will go back for sure!

We sat at the bar. Incredible service! Our bartender was one of the best in the city. I can’t remember her name but she made us feel special on such a busy day. Tuna tataki and mahi mahi sandwich were fantastic but her dirty martinis were perfect!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this incredible spot, and I can’t say enough good things about it! The restaurant itself is housed in a stunning truss building, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that blends rustic charm with modern elegance.

The food is nothing short of spectacular. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and bursting with flavor. From appetizers to mains, it’s clear that the chefs put a lot of love into their work. But the real highlight for me was the beer. The restaurant brews its own craft beer, and wow, the selection is top-notch! Each beer was perfectly paired with the food, and you can tell they take great pride in their brewing process.

A special shoutout to the person behind the bar. They were not only friendly and welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable about the beers and menu. Their recommendations were spot-on, and they made the whole experience feel personal and enjoyable.

If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and check this place out. It’s the perfect blend of great food, amazing craft beer, and excellent service! I’ll definitely be back!
