This is my favourite Indian restaurant in Melbourne. Jai Ho serves a perfectly spiced menu with wonderful selection of accompaniments to go with your curry. I can’t rate this place enough and it’s great to know that after 4 years interstate I can eat here again.

Thanks to Jai Ho staff for really going the extra mile in making this order great. The food was just what I wanted and delivery great. I had the chicken Madras, Beef Korma, Garlic Naan with Cumin Rice which was just a great combo. It was a delivery order so couldn’t rate ‘atmosphere’. Thanks again!

Heard a lot about this place and it was good to finally make it for dinner with a group of friends.. lot of options for both vegetarians and non vegetarians with a good mix of different drinks as well.. food was very good and tasty and well sized portions with decent pricing.. spacious place with ample dining capacity.. the vegetarian platter could have been a lot better with the choice of inclusions and wasn’t as great as the non vegetarian platter… only area of improvement as such was the wait time to serve the food from the time of ordering, it took very long for our food to arrive and though it was worth the wait the wait time between our starters n main course killed our hunger! A good experience overall …

I don’t know why it took me so long to try eating here. It was really good. It’s a big restaurant with quite an extensive menu and reasonably good, attentive service (other than when it took them forever to clear away the dishes after walking past us multiple times and never looking at us). The food was delicious and I’d love to try it again. Everything we ate was really good and we were all happy with our meals. We will be back.

This is one of our favorite places to order Indian takeout via Uber eats. Their curries are consistently delicious, naan breads soft and flavourful, and they’re always careful with the packaging and checking all items are included. Love their biryani, Rogan josh, tandoor chicken, and all naan breads!

Sorry but my experience was quite disappointing there. I dined there yesterday with my cousin. After 40 mins wait, I was served overly salty Manchurian and bitter gravy in both the chicken (stale) and paneer dish. It felt as though the chef did not taste the food before sending it out. Had we not been starving, we would have left the food untouched on the table. Overall, it was not worth the time or the money.

A good choice for an authentic restaurant, I had an enjoyable experience. Only criticism I have is the food took a while to arrive, I had two beers in the time it took to arrive. The food was tasty, the garlic naan was powerful with garlic though. Friendly staff. I recommend dropping in if in the area.

We are regulars here, and have been now for the past 6 years. Always, fresh, tasty and generous. Service is friendly, kind and helpful. All the meat dishes are sensational. (Too many to name here)
Entree share platter is amazing. And generous servings of rice. Drink are served quickly. Cold beer, wines and freshly made mixed drinks. You too will become a regular. Jai ho!!! (meaning triumph) Ask them to play the song. They will be happy to do so.

The family that owns and operates this beautiful Indian restaurant offer authentic cuisine in a delightful atmosphere with value for money choices. I promise you will not leave hungry. Highly recommended. Robert
