We tried the cowboy ribeye and the pork chop. The pork chop was the standout. It was thick, juicy, and full of flavor. The ribeye was thinner than expected, which caused it to be a bit overcooked and missing that nice seared crust. Still, the flavor was good and the steak remained fairly tender.
For dessert, we shared the cookie skillet. It was very sweet and we couldn’t finish it, but the fresh berries on top helped and were delicious.

Stopped at Bakery Lorraine this morning at The Pearl, and the whole area is absolutely awesome. If you’re looking for a great place to walk around, shop, grab a *delicious* macaron and coffee, stop by this area! The lot I parked in was free for the first 30 min, too!

The Pearl is only open for breakfast, so lunch and dinner come out through bar. I wasn’t happy since that wasn’t what I was aiming for on a date night, a TV in the background. The food menu is limited but the steak and risotto were both well done. The bartender made the night enjoyable, extremely attentive. We got lucky it was practically empty. On a busy night, I’m sure he wouldn’t be able to attend to us as much. Overall if you’re looking for a decent place to eat before a night on the town, this is it. If you’re looking for upscale date night, this isn’t.

Nice food – though the portions are too big, and prices are pretty high (hence 3 stars not 4). Food good though. Service very OK. Atmosphere so-so, almost empty on Friday night.

Sprouts were great. Fries – without pork, cheese and other over-the-top things – were nice. Fried oysters were OK but could/should have been bit more spicy.

Wow Jeffrey is the best bar tender / host / and entertainer. We had several craft cocktails he made that were amazing. The up sales on food were well worth it. My mouth is still watering. Jessica and I made friend with people at the bar and talked forever with Jeffery right there taking care of us.

I visited the bar for a quick dinner and a drink, it served food from the restaurant on the bar bites menu (posted outside the bar). The drink was great and the food was delicious. In the morning I ate with my hotel stay free breakfast coupons and everything was comped except the tip. The food was quick to come out and very tasty.

We ate there recently during our stay at The Sam. We had dinner one evening in breakfast before morning. Breakfast was great. I had the omelette and bacon as a side; my wife had migas and bacon. Overall, it was a wonderful way to start today. However, our dinner the previous night was less than stellar. I had the jumbo lump crab corn chowder and the spare rib. My wife had the tomato salad and the scallops. Her scallops and pasta were good, but the tomato was grossly over ripe and very mushy. My chowder was the best thing of the night. My short rib, spoetzel, and brussels sprouts were fine. The reason we chose to give this three stars was the fact that our dinner was so salty it was barely edible. Her scallop dish and my short rib dish were so salty we could barely eat them.
