can’t believe I waited so long to try here! everything was awesome – from the hostess greeting us to the environment to our meal/desserts. the restaurant itself is so cute and cozy. the food was absolutely delicious. I had the pork belly and it was incredible! everything on the snack menu is meant to come out within minutes which i am a huge fan of. we had the chips and the korean cracker jacks – they were both great as well. cannot wait to come back!

This is such a quaint and cozy place to eat! It’s such a charming historical vibe in a casually fancy setting. Lunch was served to me on the front porch, making it feel like home. “The Perfect Pearing” was a small soup, salad, half sandwich, and a dessert. This was a perfect suggestion by the kind and courteous server, Aiden. She was very knowledgeable and respectful. Thanks for making this such an enjoyable experience, Aiden!!

Private room for my mother’s 90th birthday was great. Service was attentive and good. Drinks were way too pricey though.

As a big fan of Sovana Bistro, I was excited to try The Pear—its sister restaurant—and while it didn’t quite live up to Sovana’s level, it was still a very enjoyable experience that made me want to come back and try more.

The highlight of the meal was definitely the honeydew and speck crostini appetizer. It hit every note—sweet, salty, chewy, crunchy—and the sauce brought it all together beautifully. I honestly could’ve eaten a whole meal of just those.

I had the burger, which was good but not especially memorable. The cheese sauce, pickles, onions, and lettuce worked fine, but the bun didn’t quite suit it. Still, it was juicy and flavorful. My husband’s chicken piccata, on the other hand, was excellent—perfectly cooked with bright, well-balanced flavors.

Dessert was the only real miss. I ordered the caramel budino, which just tasted like basic pudding with a few sweet nuts on top—nothing special. I’d love to see a little more variety or creativity on the dessert menu.

We sat outside on a beautiful day, which was lovely, though at certain times we had the sun directly on us and a fair bit of traffic noise. Even so, we enjoyed the overall vibe and look forward to returning.

Great location that makes you feel like you stepped back in time. A fantastic menu with lots of shareable sized portions. The prices are reasonable and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable!
The bar was overcrowded and getting to our table was a journey, getting around drunk patrons in baseball caps… 3 deep at the bar. Some rules here would be appropriate.

Stopped in last month with a friend for lunch and we liked it so much we brought our husbands back for dinner. Service at dinner was amazing!!! Drinks were delicious, appetizers were all unique and flavorful and we loved our dinner. Portions and timing was perfect. Even the hostess was a breath of fresh air. We will definitely return! Thanks for a lovely evening.

Atmosphere is very nice. Great bar. Food is too eclectic. It feels like they’re still experimenting. Smash burger is very good however.
That’s actually the only thing I’d get there, and I have tried many things on the menu.
Not a raving review, I know, but there’s just nothing to rave about.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while and finally met some friends for brunch. In short, everyone loved it. The food both breakfast & lunch options ordered were fantastic. We kept texting each other afterwards still thinking of the food and how we need to try for dinner.

What we ordered – lemon pancakes, Korean chicken sandwich, French onion grilled cheese, breakfast burrito, and the soup/salad/sandwich. combo. All was amazing.

The atmosphere was quaint – perfect for date night, brunch, or a place to impress out of town guests. Can’t wait to go back!

10/10..went for brunch on a Saturday and got a table pancake with the French Onion toast. Both were amazing. We wanted to go back for dinner the next night but closed on Sunday. Scheduled a date night a couple weeks out. Exceptional service and perfect combination of a local bar/restaurant with high class.

Five-Star Experience at The Pear in West Chester!
Absolutely delicious meal at The Pear! The Wagyu smash burger was phenomenal—bursting with flavor—and we devoured the truffle fries . The drinks were equally impressive, and the upscale casual atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, perfect for enjoying great conversation without excessive noise.

Service was top-notch! Our waiter was attentive and made us feel like the only guests in a packed restaurant. Kudos to the staff for their efficiency and hospitality. Matt truly enhanced our dining experience, making it even more memorable.

A fantastic dining spot that deserves all ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐—highly recommend!
