Truly a great dining experience, I’m surprised I’d not heard of this place sooner since living in the area!

Came here with my wife for an impromptu dinner date and we were both very delighted with our food from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, knowledgeable and helpful with recommendations.

For appetizer we got a dozen clams: red bears and st. Simon and the red bears were absolutely delightful, I highly recommend them while they’re on the menu! We also got the prosciutto wrapped shrimp, which was tastefully charred. Although I feel prosciutto is better not cooked and bacon would be a better choice for that dish.

For dinner we got the salmon special, which came with a white wine Dijon sauce, rice, and broccoli. I had the scallops with mushroom risotto. The salmon was excellent, the sauce was delightful, the scallops were cooked perfectly with nice crisp edges but still soft and moist on the inside. The risotto was also cooked perfectly, its hard to find a good risotto and I practically picked the plate clean. The scallops were also covered in a homemade pesto that was absolutely incredible!

For dessert we got the gingerbread cake, and being someone who doesnt have much of a sweet tooth I absolutely devoured it.

Overall I’m definitely coming back! Hopefully soon!

I was amazed to come upon this restaurant out while driving in the country. It was such a beautiful quaint little place to eat. The outside was beautiful. It was autumn and all the trees were different colors. There were string lights all over outside in the outdoor seating area. There were a few families playing games together out in the grass in front of the restaurant. When I stepped inside, it was absolutely gorgeous in a simple way. That atmosphere was a quaint upscale country restaurant. The lobster roll and lobster bisque were absolutely delicious. The lobster roll had a lot of lobster meat inside. The pasta was fresh and delicious. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. I was surprised how fast the food came out. Also, the restaurant was impeccably clean.

Delicious food, great service & atmosphere. Had dinner for 2 Saturday night 11.29.25. Cute place with a fireplace inside as well as a fire pit outside , we will definitely be going back when in the area.

I had a really good time yesterday at the Bruynswick Inn and oyster bar. Live music outside, the fire pit, a beautiful setting and a helpful staff added to the experience. We ordered the trio appetizer and while it took 45 minutes to get to us the quality of the food was good. I also ordered the steak panini and others in the group had the grilled chicken sandwich. Again it took some time but the food was good. Keep in mind it was Father’s Day and they were very busy. We needed more chairs and the young man working outside took good care of us. The bar tender was great at meeting our needs and the waiting staff, while swamped with orders worked hard to meet our needs. The time delay and a few mistakes on our order is the reason for the one star drop but I do recommend this facility for food and fun. I really hope you give them a shot. We traveled from Saratoga and found it worth the trip.

My wife took me here for my birthday this past weekend. Not only was I surprised by my oldest son showing up but also by how nice the whole experience was. The bluepoint oysters were great. I had a lobster roll as well, and it was delicious. My wife and daughter in law had the steak sandwiches, and my son had their bueger. everyone enjoyed their meal. Drinks were also very good. All in all, we had a really nice time.

This recently renovated bar/restaurant is very nicely laid out and landscaped. Seating area is a touch cozy but our servers were excellent. Our party got a number of appetizers to share .All of our dinners were very good , The salads that came with our dinners were amazing , fresh and delicious , The Po boy was very good, the pulled pork was excellent as was the linguine clam sauce , only complaint was the Spiced apple fizz cocktail was a dissapointmet. I felt like the bar lacked domestic light beers. Overall I loved this place just wouldn’t get the same cocktail again . Look forward to going again.

Food was very good even though we aren’t really seafood eaters. Everything was delicious. Server was friendly and professional. Atmosphere was great. What a wonderful renovation they did. Can’t wait to go and enjoy all the outdoor areas they created once the weather is nice.

Great spot to sit outside and enjoy the fall weather. Staff was so nice and the food and drinks were very good. My GF and I only had the French onion soup and drinks, but, when we’re in the area again, we’re definitely stopping for dinner.

The Oyster & Clam Bar at The Bruynswick Inn did NOT disappoint!

I started with the Seasonal (pear) Shandy cocktail which was crisp, refreshing, and not overly sweet. We shared the crab cakes appetizer which was pleasantly more crab than cake and not the slightest bit greasy…

BUT my seafood pot pie might be the best seafood dish I’ve ever had! The cream was somehow both rich and light, and all my favorite seafoods were featured generously! It was love at first bite! My husband had the steak entree, which he enjoyed. It looked delicious, but I wasn’t really willing to share!

We shared the s’more crème brûlée dessert special with coffees to round out our evening.

The restaurant is beautifully renovated, and despite a healthy crowd in attendance, service was prompt. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive! I already know what I want to order the next 2 times (need to try it all so I can circle back to this pot pie)!
