Absolutely amazing wings ‼️ Went at lunch so it wasn’t crowded at all, service was great and food was amazing. Meat was falling off the bones and just dunked in sauce. 6/5 stars ⭐️

If you want good wings and you like hot buffalo sauce then this might be the place for you to go. It is a destination spot for many people that return back to the Kansas City area. They just have to relive the peanut wings.

Had a great experience at The Peanut downtown! The wings are massive and packed with flavor, definitely worth the hype. The cheese fries were solid, but the real standout was the BLT. I followed my server’s recommendation and added an egg – absolutely incredible! Great spot, will definitely be back.

The food was amazing when we finally got our food after 45 min. Our server never checked on us. Never filled our drinks except for the 1 time I had to wave her down. What really upset me is instead of checking on us she would only made sure the bar side was happy and would stand at the end of the bar on her phone. I had to get up ask for our ticket and Togo box. Honestly they need to hire someone to control the floor while someone runs the bar.

When someone tells you the wings are the only thing you need to buy, you tend to not question that. I know there are multiple locations but if they all do wings like this then I have a spot for wings all across this Metroplex. I definitely recommend the food here. I like to try different places every few days. The menu has quite a bit of options. I’ve been to all the peanut locations in Kansas City and Surrounding areas. If you’re a wing fan I highly recommend the three huge wings and chili Cheese Fries. Absolutely amazing. It’s a bar atmosphere and some weekends it’s kinda busy . Drinks are good as well and staff, Bartenders are on point. Bravo Peanut hope you stay around for a long time. I’ll most definitely be back.

I mean probably the best wings you’ll have in your life. My boyfriend and I went 2 days in a row, once to the Mission location and the second time to the original location in KC because it was so good.

My review would have been better, but the tables were not clean, and our waiter was MIA. He was the friendliest but never refilled drinks and just wasn’t around much. When we first arrived, it wasn’t busy. There were maybe four of us in there total.
But the food was truly pretty good! The wings were crispy and had great flavor, and their chili is really unique and not like anything I have had before.

You know the food is amazing when you don’t deduct a star for the long wait.
A staple in KC, the Peanut is one of the only places you should be eating wings in KC. The downtown location is small, and quaint with regulars sharing laughs and beers at the bar.
The wings are PERFECT. Cooked and well seasoned and on this occasion I discovered their chili cheese fries. My new perfect combination!

Came at like 3 pm, an employee didn’t really take my order until 10 minutes passed. Ordered 6 Buffalo Wings with ranch. I shoulda got the 3 wings with fries cause the 6 wings was way too much food for me. Wings we’re good but they did take about 20 minutes to prep. Overall, decent place
