Made reservations and was seated right away. 5 adults and 4 kids. We got a huge table with plenty of room which was great. We asked for two high chairs when we were seated and asked the hostess for menus, since there were only two on the table.
After about 5 minutes the server came out to get drinks. We had to ask again for high chairs and menus. The hostess came back with two high chairs and said “sorry we had to find them”. We finally get some more menus a couple minutes later. The bartender actually brought them to us because they didn’t have any more on the hostess stand.
Salads come out and we had to ask for silverware. Our server brings out a tray of forks, and says they were running low on clean silverware and these aren’t rolled because they had just came out of the wash. We had to share a steak knife.
One meal came out missing a chicken breast which we told her it was ok just take the second chicken breast off the bill. My meal came out missing the fries with cheese and when the server asked if we were missing anything I said my fries, the server says “fries” and comes out a few minutes later with plain fries no cheese.
The atmosphere was fine, the metal chairs on the concrete is pretty loud and the live music they could stand to turn down a notch or two. We can’t say much about that though with two 1 year olds that are pretty loud some times.
When we got home with our to go box we realized the boxes were from tazikis Mediterranean Grill, not that I really care about that but my wife and I kinda chuckled at each other. Low on silverware, low on menus, forgetting food, using another restaurant’s to go boxes seemed fitting for the supply struggles they were having tonight.
We really have enjoyed the food every time we’ve went and the service has always been spotty. But this time was pretty bad. I think our server was doing her best with what she had. Just seems like management should tighten up some things up. I am a firm supporter of locally owned business so we will be back, I hope they can get these things fixed.
I think the bartender and other staff were drinking. Then saw a argument on Facebook between staff and the owner with the owner telling g the staff to stop drinking her liquor. So unprofessional.
The food is over priced and not what you would expect for what is costs. Been there three times and they struck out and never took the bat off their shoulder.
