Stopped in here for lunch with a friend and walking in was regular looking Chinese Restaurant. You can tell it has been there for awhile just from looking at the decor. We were the only ones in the dining room area so very quiet. We could barely hear any noise from the bar. We ended up ordering Pork Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon and Boneless Spareribs and my buddy ordered a combination plate. The server was very friendly. 10 minutes later food was delivered and did it look and smell good. I will say all of it was very good but the Boneless Spareribs were incredible. The sauce they use is great tasting with some fat on them that adds so much more flavor. The rice was moist but dry like it should be and the Crab Rangoon was very full and good size, tasty. Definitely my solid #2 Chinese Restaurant to eat at. I will be visiting again. I would highly recommend going here if in the area.

Place looks very different now, worse than before. We sat down and were given a menu but told the entire middle section of the back was not orderable. We ordered our food and it took a while, but then only half of it came out, and we waited on my fried rice for literally probably half an hour longer and by then we were done eating. We got everything boxed up and asked for the check, which i didn’t even get to see, they just took my card in the back.

Avoid, Ordered Tofu got chicken! Fortune cookie even soggy. Cook forgot seasoning, food barely warm. Dine in Menu is the paper takeout menu.

I’ve enjoyed coming to Nan King for many years. The menu has been expanded to include food from other Asian countries in addition to Chinese, all of which is excellent. The drinks here are very good and not too expensive. The bar can be a very entertaining place with karaoke, darts and pool leagues, juke box, all the major sports interests on the four televisions, and just plain people watching- both locals and stragglers alike. Come on in, pull up a chair, sit down, order the House Special Pad Thai and a Mai Tai, and enjoy the show! Very much recommended.

This place has definitely gone down hill. I use to come here every Friday and Saturday night drinks karaoke shoot pool and Chinese food. Well food gone to hell ordered there twice got sick both times and that’s never happened before. Then both times was carry out and both times I was missing food. When I use to go there the amount of food I’d order was for 6 people and it was about $50. Now it feeds 4 people and im paying 110…. and 10 years later I’m still ordering the same exact things. Do better

Price was similar to other relevant restaurants. I ordered pickup once, the amount of good food given, was great.
(Not like competitors, that put 5 ounces of sauce in the bag, plus other miscellaneous cheap items, to weigh it down, making you think, that you have a lot of food in bag, when you walk out).
