Just in case anybody went here recently.. : r/Seattle – Reddit

I live super close by and it’s been our go-to for Thai food. I gotta say though, it’s never seemed like the cleanest joint lol.

Patio Thai is an absolute gem! Every dish is bursting with authentic flavors, and the attention to detail in their cooking is exceptional. The Pad Thai is perfectly balanced, with just the right amount of tangy, sweet, and savory flavors. The curries are rich and aromatic, and the fresh ingredients truly stand out.

The ambiance of the restaurant is warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always eager to recommend their favorite dishes. It’s clear they take pride in their service.

Patio Thai has quickly become one of my favorite places for Thai food. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious, authentic Thai meal. Five stars all the way for chef Todd and Patio Thai.

Wow. This place used to be so good. I ordered takeout and received incomplete and undercooked food.

I understand times are difficult in the restaurant industry, but what I received was absolutely unacceptable and inedible.
If you want people to show up, if you want to stay in business, your product should be consistent and The quality should match the price your customers are paying.

Having worked a decade in kitchens I don’t understand. I would’ve been embarrassed sending the food I received out of the kitchen.

What a waste of money.

Old review: By far the absolute best Thai food I’ve had in a very long time. What an absolute gem. Everything came out in an efficient time and looked just as good it tasted. Our server took wonderful care of us. This place is an adorable date spot, I’m excited to come back a little later at night to see just how cute the patio is with all the lights. 10/10 will recommend to anyone looking for a great meal. I’ll certainly be back here often!!

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Capitol Hill. First, you can easily find street parking. Second, the food is amazing with generous portions. The staff are very friendly. The food is delicious, and they have great options. I also love the atmosphere—it’s very comfortable and feels like home. Try the food, and you’ll thank me .

The food was amazing, especially for a non-adventurous eater like myself. The crab delights were super filled and they don’t skimp on the crab meat! They were so good that we got a second order immediately. We also had the garlic delight and it too was good. The veggies were cooked al dente which was perfect and presentation was nice. I definitely recommend getting rice with the entrees.

The food is not bad, but the price is simply unjustifiable. It used to be a close call on value, but particularly since the portion sizes dropped (and amount of chicken/beef in each dish is now way less) I won’t be coming back.

Everything about this place looks nice – especially the food presentation. The staff are quick & polite, & I enjoyed the peaceful meal.
However, I am sad to say the food is very bland. Having at both their imitation crab rangoon & tofu garlic lover I was very unimpressed by the lack of flavor.

Star rating is based on food only.

This place has some unique Thai dishes which are very tasty. Such as their green curry with avocados, Thai Sukiyaki and Kai Soi(noodle soup) are really good.

However, their “regular” Thai dishes, such Phad Thai Yum Woon Sen salad, are just not bad.

I am pretty picky when it comes to Thai food. If it’s not because their tasty unique Thai dishes, I will just rate them 3 stars the most base on their Phad Thai. Overall, if you happen to in the area and want some Thai food, I would recommend to give this place a try.

Pro: tasty unique Thai dishes, good Thai ice tea, friendly staffs

Con: slightly slow service

Our new favorite Thai spot when we come to the city. Me and my partner try to eat at a different Thai restaurant every day when we go out of town, this was the BEST restaurant of our trip. Reminds me of my Thai grandmas cooking. Amazing. Service was great, very fast and kind.

Tasty but $24 after tip for barely two cups of curry (not including rice) is insane, no wonder there’s hardly anyone there. They need to chop prices or bump quantity by a LOT
