We went to The Pasta House in Festus to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and had a great experience. The restaurant was busy when we arrived, but we were seated in the bar area at a high-top table and everything moved quickly from there.
Despite the crowd, our food came out fast and hot, which we really appreciated. The pasta dishes were cheesy, hearty, and comforting, and the portions were generous. Everything tasted fresh and well made exactly what you want from a classic Italian spot.
Overall, it was a fun, relaxed place to celebrate a birthday, with good food and efficient service even during a rush. We’d definitely go back again.

Food was amazing. I don’t recommend the spinach artichoke. The flamingo chicken and pasta con broccoli is delicious!!! The waiter Cameron was very attentive and helpful.

Excellent food, just like when I was a kid. It always hits the spot and brings the warm nostalgia. But what really stood out about this location on our last visit was the service. I have a dairy allergy, and a lot of places aren’t great at understanding that, and often don’t know how to answer questions about the menu and ingredients. Our server here was fantastic. She not only knew the ingredients, she double checked things with both me and the cooks, and the cook herself also came out to discuss how she could make an accommodation to make things work for me. They were both genuinely friendly and happy to help, and didn’t make me feel like I was a bother at all. The cook even came out to make sure everything tasted ok (it was excellent!). Hands down the best Pasta House location I’ve been to, and I’ve been going to Pasta House since the 90’s. We will definitely be back anytime we’re passing through Festus!

I had a wonderful experience here. My wife and I have been to this location once before and remembered it being good. The pasta house did not disappoint this time! Janna was awesome, she was one step ahead and very polite. Would absolutely recommend the chicken parm, and their minestrone rocked hard!

Service was ok. Couldn’t answer questions. Food was lacking usual flavor and apparently serve Chicken Spedini cut up now. I feel like you had less chicken this way. The portion used to be larger. I think they are getting too pricey. Hope Arnold location re-opens soon and is the same as it was. Festus did not impress.

I just had to share about my wonderful experience at the pasta house! The food was great and it came out fairly quick! But it’s not just the food that makes me want to drive an hour and a half to revisit this location regularly. It’s the service and the environment! My son (16) has disabilities and is an avid sports fan. When we walked in, he was immediately drawn to the TVs with the days football games. One of the employees noticed his interest and suggested that we sit in this area. I was really grateful because I was not paying attention to his reaction, because he typically has this reaction in other environments like this. This type of inclusive mindset is really encouraging and heartwarming! Every other employee we encountered was genuinely kind and loving. It’s the type of thing you can just see is in the work culture at this location! My one-year-old would frequently drop toys too and everyone was so helpful to help me pick them up too. I was so grateful for the help. Thank everyone!

This place is the average chain italian food restaurant. The service was very good, but the food in my plate was cold, and my wifes lasagna was warm not hot. The potions are on the small side.

Everything was PERFECT!! From the food to the waitress PERFECT!! The food we ordered was PERFECT!! I had the Philly cheesesteak sandwich.. my husband had the chicken parmigiana.. good choices! The atmosphere was very comfortable to me.. We live in farmington and came to this one lol. We were on our way home…. Thank you Festus Pasta house!

The food was delicious and the portion sizes are huge! The blackberry mijitos were very good, and our server Sophia was excellent. The only suggestion I would make, is maybe turn the music down just a little. The music choices are fun and catchy, and add to the atmosphere, it was just a tiny bit too loud to carry on comfortable conversation. Other than that, we had a wonderful experience and definitely plan to return.
