We tried The Pasta Bowl today. They had a live band that was really good. The people were very friendly and attentive to us as customers. We ordered the appetizer sampler, and it had fried ravioli, fried cheese, meatballs, and breadsticks. We also ordered the chicken alfredo pizza. The meatballs were pretty good, they stood out on the sampler as the best item. The pizza was well made, I am not usually a fan of this pizza, but wanted to try something different. The place was very clean and the people were exceptionally nice. Overall, it was a typical food experience not exceptional, but not bad. The pricing was not bad at all. Coupling the staff, the location, the band, and the pricing, this is not a bad choice for lunch or dinner in Lewis County. It is nice to see something different in Lewis County

Came in just to pick up a to go order and ended up sitting down, having breadsticks and the MOST amazing marinara I’ve ever had and a glass of wine the food is amazing, good service, fast cook time and wonderful atmosphere! I’m so happy this is here ❤️

Extremely cute and sweet family restaurant with a very charming atmosphere. Portion sizes are larger than average, but prices for the area comparatively seem a bit lower, so be prepared for a takeout box even if you order cheaply.

We got an app, and each an entrée (seafood fettuccine and butternut squash ravioli) that comes with salad and had to take to go boxes. Good serving sizes. The stuffed mushrooms were amazing. The red sauce was flavorful and delicious. The server was sweet, charming, and attentive. Will go back and highly recommend!

Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place! All those yummy looking pictures you see on Google, ya they don’t sell any of it anymore. If limited menu options doesn’t annoy you the flies will! They were everywhere! The food was mediocre at best. The flavor was bland and tasted like a cheaply made home meal rather than genuine Italian cuisine. The fish tasted like it was from a bag of frozen breaded cod, the pico was like a cup of tomatoes with a hint cilantro and some onions thrown in it. Everything tasted like it came out of a microwave was piping hot and needed salt. I didn’t enjoy this place at all and didn’t finish my food or save it! Won’t be returning. Plenty of parking though, for obvious reasons.

A close friend and I had recently read about “The Pasta Bowl” featured in The Chronicle and so we decided to give it a try.

Went there today with my husband, we got seated right away which was nice. Everyone there was really nice. We got rolls and oil to dip for starters? Afterwards got soup, it was about a 5/10. Then we got our meals. I ordered the bacon mac and cheese which was pretty mediocre and about a 6/10. My husband got the 4 cheese tortellini and it was about a 7 but wasn’t cheesy. Then we got our breadsticks that were just plain. It was a little disappointing, I dont know if I’d go back for the high price of mediocre food. To be honest olive garden olympia and the hometown family restaurant in centralia have better pasta. For somewhere called “the pasta bowl” its not really good.

Service was friendly, but our waitress charged us full price and not happy hour. Manager was super nice and fixed it. Food was….okay. I expected it to taste fresher. Breadsticks were dry, sauces lacked flavor, soup was meh. Most of it tasted like it was bought from the store and was really bland. Even the cheesecake tasted store bought with a dizzle added to it.

This place has been open a year or so, but I never stopped by, but managed to today. Was immediately greeted with a smile on entering, explained the way the place works, and shown the menu.
