My 1st time eating here and I am glad I stopped to try it. They have a wide variety of ice creams (every flavor imaginable), deserts, breakfast all day, tons of burgers, hot dogs etc. I ordered the county fried chicken hashbrowns and scrambled eggs. I also ordered the fried cauliflower with ranch. Then a turtle Sunday !! Oh and mine was a small size..huge!! The other party with me ordered the regular sized brownie Sunday and it was gigantic. Everything was delicious and the bill for everything was around $45.

Popped in to check out the parlor today. Grabbed a chicken finger and fries and a malt shake and I was not disappointed. This was a fun place to come and eat. It has a very authentic diner feel to it. the folks working there were very pleasant and welcoming. Temperature was was comfortable. I love the seating and these portions are really good in the kids menu is reasonably priced. I learned this place is under New Management and I definitely think you should them a try.

Good service, great ice cream (I forgot to take a pic). Ordered the Nacho Burger. I personally am not a big fan of the coney meat, but it was still a good meal! And I love that they brought out the ice cream first so that I didn’t have to worry about filling up on food and not be able to finish dessert!

The wife and I went in here on a busy Saturday night so I could try their new Ultimate Date To Be Great Feast challenge. Scott, the new owner, was super accommodating even though they were slammed that night. The food was awesome, the atmosphere was really cool, and we will definitely be back as “regular” customers. 5 out of 5 stars for sure!

The recent renovations and menu at The Parlour of Jackson are definitely going in the right direction. The strides the new owner is making makes visiting there again worth it. He is incorporating a traditional Coney Island menu with an ice cream parlour menu. He has hopes of offering flavored popcorn and roasted nuts as well.

The only negatives I saw was the concrete that needed to be fixed by the door and they do not have buttons to open the doors. I am assuming they use the side door for wheelchair accessibility because the main has steps. Our server was awesome. Menu prices are a little high though. My one scoop hot sundae was $10 but that one scoop is huge and well worth the money.

I love this place. I grew up coming here for ice cream so when I visited my hometown again, I just had to stop in for a scoop despite it being 20 degrees outside. The ice cream and service was just as I remember it and I couldn’t be happier. I can’t wait to visit again!

We had previously visited in summer of 2022 with our extended family. We had a great time, so when we were in the area again, we decided to head back.
Unfortunately, we did not have a pleasant experience at this time.
The establishment was not very clean (there were swarms of flies), the staff were not friendly (asked for spoons and a box was tossed onto the counter, and the menu had changed significantly (no more giant banana split). I don’t normally like to say poor things, but in this case, potential patrons should be warned.
I recall one of the draws to this place last time was the over-the-top portions (single scoops were softball size, we think). That was not the case this time.
Prices seemed high too. Two single scoops and a shake cost me $19.01 (with taxes, less tip).
I am not sure we will go back here again…

Had family in town, wanted to show them the parlor. We walked in with a larger party there wasn’t enough room for us at the dining bars to sit together. So we asked if we could sit at the tables. We were told no. Fine that’s fair, they’re right I guess. Won’t be patronizing this business anymore, if they don’t want my money lol. Also just a tip for the new management, you’ll get more business if you accommodate your guests and empty your trash cans once in a while.
*Update*
There wasn’t 20 of us there was nine of us. We weren’t looking for crazy service, we understood it was late. We just were looking for a place to sit and eat ice cream. And it’s not just that we were told no it’s the manner in which we were told no. No explanation, not even a “we’re sorry.” Just “No.”. Seemed a little rude. Your response to my review reflects the same attitude of your employees. Good luck my guy.

Took the family here today. We planned on getting food and ice cream. There was 7 of us. It took quite some time for our waitress to come over to greet us and give us menus. We told her we wanted to order food and then ice cream. She told us to order at the same time and she would make sure our ice cream was made once we were done eating. She ended up bringing my ice cream out first. I reminded her that I wanted to eat my food first. She said okay and she’d have them remake it afterwards. The food was great! But when the ice cream came out you could clearly tell it wasn’t remade. It was soup! My wife asked if it was remade and the waitress said yes, it was only melted from the hot fudge. Very disappointing! The temperature inside was very nice since it was a very hot day. I used the restroom and the soap and paper towel dispensers were functioning but all empty. There was a roll of paper towel and soap refill on the counter. As I mentioned there was no complaints about the food but mostly everything else was disappointing! The name on our receipt is Shannobi B.
