Yum! We stopped by Black Water for a drink and lunch and found our new favorite vegan eatery/bar/record store … Ect. The Dragula drink was awesome. Cranberry vodka and fresh squeezed lemonade … not too sweet, absolutely delicious. The food was awesome! We had the Chicken Sandwich (fried tofu and all the traditional sandwich fixings) and the Western Burger (bbq burger with vegan patties, fried onions, bacon) and they were both sooooooo delicious. Their burger sauce is bomb! The atmosphere was relaxed, the music was Excellent, the staff was awesome. I appreciated how chill the whole place was. We will definitely be going back for some of the shows coming up to experience the night side! Vegan or not, check Black water out!

This place has a great vibe, very laid-back and friendly with cute animal videos on the TV. They serve tasty comfort food with generous portions. I especially enjoy the weekend brunch. The crab burger special they had recently was also excellent.

Vegan food. Nice bartender. Chicken didn’t remind me of chicken though. The sandwiches needed more bread. The wings were outstanding

Great place with great food and drinks. First time eating here since they moved locations. Absolutely love the Philly Cheese Steak and fact they have an all Vegan menu. Us vegans need to try to support our fellow vegan restaurants as much as possible.

I went here on Saturday night for the first time to see the Twilight drag show and get some food and drinks with my husband. The food we got was amazing, the show was spot on, and everyone at the place was extremely nice! The venue itself was clean and well decorated. I had a ton of fun and would come back even just for a bite to eat.

Fantastic punk/metal/goth dive bar with a top-notch vegan kitchen. Add the fries, add the cheeze, add the bakon, get the ranch, you won’t be sad you did. Roll for Chik’n sandwich & French dip is soft & fluffy. Fries are generous & the right kind of hot/salty/crispy that you only find at a bar like this. Generous with pickles, I appreciate that.
Great music, 2 TVs, side area with stage for shows, 2 pinball machines & a photo booth. All-gender bathroom & great prices.
So many delicious food options & everything is vegan. Fast service, nice folx at the bar.
Excellent selection of beer, cider, CBD soda & more on tap, they’ll let you taste before you commit.
It’s where the creeps are & it couldn’t be better.

This is the most “bar looking bar” I have ever seen! It is so 90s I cant explain it. The food was very good, and I really recomend the “hott stixx”.
The service was a little slow but still okay. The people were really friendly too. There is live local band music here every once and a while. I recomend comeing here if you have freetime and want a good show. ☆☆☆☆☆

My first time here and in Portland, my wife picked this spot and I’m glad she did. The decor and vibe was totally up our alley and the staff were super friendly/helpful with our menu choices because there are SO MANY great options. I got the vegan French Dip and the au jus was chef’s kiss good!!! They had the best vegan mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had. I would frequent this spot if I were a Portland local. 10/10 would recommend.

I used to get takeout here weekly. Just a few years ago their burgers were $10 and came with a side. Now they are $20 with no side. I understand costs rising, but doubling the price of many items within a few year period is a joke. $14 for two microwaved pretzels and mustard? I’m good.
