Great place to have breakfast to start your day. The restaurant is set in a beautiful area so I would suggest sitting outside and taking in the quaint view. The food is delicious and the portions are healthy.

This little gem is actually in an idyllic spot with a very peaceful setting beside a beautiful small lake. The food was fabulous, large portions, we had the comfort pancakes which were amazing and we were greeted by a very welcoming Welsh lady who was very attentive and friendly and turns out is from a city not far from where we live. Would recommend booking as we tried to get a table two days before and they were full.

What a hidden gem! Wasn’t expecting to find a place this nice on the south coast. Had been looking for a place to have a proper breakfast for awhile and was introduced to the Park Cafe. I’m glad I decided to come in! I started with the Greek yoghurt parfait and had an omelette with toast. The omelette was perfectly cooked. Not overly done and tough. Coffee was super! Served nice and hot. The passion lemon juice was also equally as tasty. Everything from the food to service with a smile was excellent. Definitely recommend coming here. Special shout out to Jeus, from the Dominican Republic for his menu recommendations and friendly and polite service. Always nice to feel appreciated and thanked for coming in.

My name is Erica. I had to share about the exemplary service from one of your staff, Brandon. From the time we arrived, he was just a breath of fresh air.
Brandon made sure we were comfortable.
When Brandon heard that it was a birthday celebration, he got excited and told us thanks for letting him know.
He listened carefully to what we requested. That smile never once left his face. I love customer service, so I know what to look for and what to expect. So when i do receive it, i have to highlight it. Even my dad and sister felt so relaxed with his presence.

In light banter, we got to find out that Brandon is also a January born as well.
Brandon surprised us with ice cream and sang the happy birthday song, lol.

It was not only us that felt his warm and inviting presence. When i looked around i could see other persons calling his name and saying farewell.
Brandon, keep up the great service. Don’t change you.
The Park is better with you present .
Beautiful place by the way. That was my first time.

I hate leaving these sorts of reviews so let’s start with the positives.
The ambiance is lovely. From the little lake/ pond on the side,to the inside which was very well decorated. The mango lemonade is probably my new favorite drink busting with flavor…… And that’s about it for the good.
I arrived with my gf and we stood up for about 5 minutes with 5 members of staff being behind the counter and walking pass us. No one greeted us! I’m 6’3 and a half I’m not easily missed! After finally someone decided to take us on, we were seated. The waitress to this minute did not address my gf. We got a starter of shrimp and samosas (veg)……. The shrimp was just okay and the Samoas had zero flavor!.
Our mains were the spicy chicken sandwich which was very dry and had no flavor. I had an omelet which I could see had in bacon and sweet peppers cause I ordered it that was yet it had no flavor. There was one waiter /server ( I hope I got your position correct) with locks that was the only one who really spoke to us and made sure we were okay, props to you buddy I couldn’t see your name tag but thanks.
Pricing wasn’t bad….. Doesn’t look accessible for wheelchair users who want to sit on the inside.
Honestly after looking forward to going for the entire week, this was a major let down. Not sure I’d be back to be honest. Do better! Customer service is important!

The best brunch spot in Barbados!! Lots of variety of choice for sweet and savoury options on the menu, and they are all really good! Portion sizes are also very generous which leaves you with very very good value for money. Staff are also very nice with great service always.

Overall…. disappointing. We were celebrating a birthday. We didn’t book ahead and space was limited. We were assigned an outside table. The waitress seemed to be having a bad day or didn’t take a liking to us. She was quite miserable with minimal customer service skills. Drinks orders were asked to be brought with our meals and were forgotten. We ended up reaching out to two servers and were forgotten by both. The food is really expensive. We had variations of the “full English”. One slice of toast. And 1 sausage OR ration of bacon. Honestly
.. this wasn’t the worst place I’ve ever visited but it’s the type of place where you swear to yourself that they’re not getting your money again. We paid for extras. No complaints about the actual taste of the food. This wasn’t my first time.
.. but it will very likely be my last. (For the record: the first time was much better service… not sure if the prices were any / much lower at the time). The portions are not overly generous and definitely not worth my hard earned cash. Maybe the service tainted my visit but If you’re going to charge me “extortionate” prices for average portions…. at least do it with a smile!!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our first experience at The Park Cafe. On our first visit, Kyle was our server and provided outstanding service – he was friendly, professional, and created a great atmosphere. Combined with beautifully presented and delicious food, it made for a memorable meal. The outdoor seating was peaceful and scenic, adding to the charm. We enjoyed the plantain chips, blueberry pancakes, chicken and waffles, quesadillas, and beef samosas – all highly recommended.

Our positive first experience prompted us to return before the end of our trip. Unfortunately, the second visit didn’t live up to the first. Kyle wasn’t working, and the service we received from the young male and female staff on duty was disappointing. We weren’t greeted upon arrival, no one smiled, and we had to ask for our dirty table to be cleaned when it was obviously not cleaned. Service was noticeably slow. After placing our order, we were told there was no chicken, then later no vegetarian option, and finally settled on the beef samosas – without any apology for the inconvenience. Unlike our first visit, our food was not served together, and it took nearly an hour for everything to arrive. The staff that day seemed disengaged, inattentive, rude and didn’t check in and avoided eye contact. We had to call out to get their attention multiple times. My Husband added on the reservation that we were celebrating my birthday and nothing special was offered, however the tables near us were brought out a cake slice with sparklers and sang to.

Despite the poor service on our second visit, the food remained consistent, and Kyle is truly a valuable asset to the team. I would of rated the service a 5 star rating for our first visit and a 1 star for our second visit, hence why I’ve gone for 3 star rating. Our disappointing service was on 5th May.

I recently visited The Park Cafe with my girlfriend for brunch, and we were blown away by the entire experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a laid-back meal, while the staff provided exceptional service, making us feel right at home.

The all-day breakfast menu was a dream! Every dish we tried was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. From classic favorites to more unique offerings, there was something for everyone, and the quality of ingredients truly stood out.

The Park Cafe is the perfect spot for breakfast lovers at any time of day. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing brunch or a hearty breakfast later in the afternoon, this place has you covered. Highly recommend!
