Let’s be real: While the government was busy debating how to function, Taco John’s was busy feeding the community. I visited specifically to support their incredible “Community Support Special,” offering free meals to SNAP recipients during the shutdown. A “no questions asked” policy for a hot meal is a serious display of corporate citizenship that deserves five stars alone.
Beyond the humanitarian efforts (take notes, Washington!), the food was classic West-Mex comfort. The Potato Olés® were hot, crispy, and savory—seriously addictive. Dip them in the nacho cheese, you won’t regret it. The burrito was hearty, reliable, and exactly what you need after watching the news.
When a fast-food chain cares more about people than politicians, you know where to spend your money. Support the local operators who step up when the federal guys shut down. Great food, even better morals.

I had an amazing experience at Taco John’s. I ordered the #9 chicken burrito and it was so good that I literally went back through the drive-thru to order another one, that’s how fire it was. I even went back to drive thruu to ask who made it because it was made perfectly. A kind gentleman named Lavant prepared it, and you can tell he takes pride in his work. The cashier, Malachi, was also excellent very friendly, respectful, and provided great customer service, especially that late at night.
The whole place felt welcoming, clean, and well-run. Shout out to Lavant and Malachi for making my visit such a great experience. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Multiple family memebers were violently ill after eating there. Spent $64 on food. No one answered phones for multiple days. Their staff including management were disrespectful, dismissive & rude. Tried to talk to them about what happened 2 times food was thrown out the door instead of being talked to. 2nd time told nothing could be done after being told to wait and being talked down to. Customer service is clearly not a goal, even by the management. Never going back. Don’t waste your time, money, or health. Don’t pay for terrible food, horrendous service, & to be disrespected.

Amazing service. I went in not knowing exactly what the dishes were like and as most fast food restaurants they are slightly on the greasy side. Even though I should have thought to ask before hand, I ended up getting something that was slightly too cheesy and saucy for me due to my heart issues (also delicious). I offered to pay for another with less sauce and cheese but the employee insisted that I not worry about it and immediately made me another. Some of the best service I’ve received from a fast food restaurant in a while.

Potato Oles were not well seasoned and disappointing. I ordered Spicy Chicken and Potato Grillers, but he rang up Spicy Steak and Potato Grillers. They were more expensive and they weren’t good. The cashier was also handling money with his gloved hands, and then with the same gloves, putting food into bags. It was a long wait for food. It did come out at a good temperature, but it wasn’t well made. I didn’t even know this location was there, but I won’t be going back.

Great service! They bring your food to you, Greet You. Give you a free Churro for a 2 minute survey which helps my sweet tooth .. honestly one of the best fast food restaurants I’ve been to in a long while.

Alright — 3 years ago, I was highly critical of this establishment when it opened and each visit was an absolute disaster. I decided to give this location another chance — I’ve done about 6 visits within the last month or so and it is much improved! This location also knows how to properly cook potato ole’s. Please don’t ever overcook them. The new staff and management is x100 better than years ago. I’m happy this place is doing much better — drove by today for Taco Tuesday at 1145am and this place was PACKED. No parking spots and a line for the drive-thru. I call that successful. Keep it up, guys — I’ll make this my go-to location, rather than Savage.

The food is meh, only thing going for them is onions.
How are you going to be a taco restaurant and have a sign on your drive through saying you’re out of quesadillas? You have tortillas enough to make burritos, and you have cheese for those burritos. Those are the ingredients for a quesadilla.
Save yourself time and money by going across the street to Taco Bell where even if the line is longer you’ll still get your food faster than if you were the only car in the drive through.

I should’ve read the reviews, but wanted to give this place a try. Fast food is a dying branch and will not sustain itself by cheating customers out of fair quantity of food. People are not stupid. I wanted to post a photo of basically nothing put inside on my tacos. 1145am 12/12/24 (6pk and a lb meal). I’m done with this chain too.
