Such a fun and unique spot. It feels like eating inside a toy museum! Everywhere you look there’s something quirky and nostalgic to see. We loved exploring all the curated toy exhibits while we waited for our food. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and just as memorable as the atmosphere.
Definitely a must-visit if you love great food with a side of creativity and nostalgia! ✨

On a Wednesday morning we drove to Remington to have breakfast at Papermoon Diner, a brightly painted local institution filled with toys and eclectic artwork. The restaurant was opened in 1994 by a Korean immigrant who collaborated with an art school friend to decorate the interior with their collections of toys and knickknacks. Over the years customers have contributed their own items and many of the existing ones have been stolen. The owner seems to have a predilection for naked dolls and mannequins which are clustered together in various states of dismemberment. The kids were somewhat creeped out by this but I thought it was quite entertaining. I do appreciate this particular aspect of Americana in which diners are festooned with memorabilia and idiosyncratic decor. Of course the main reason we were there was to eat and Papermoon Diner provided us with generous portions of excellent breakfast food.

Great servers and an amazing atmosphere! All the toys and trinkets are such a treat. The omurice omelet I ordered was delish! And perfect for the cold weather

Went Sunday morning during brunch hours. Waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Cute little 2 person table snuggled in all the colorful and bright decor throughout the entire restaurant. Forgot to take pictures but we ordered the egg which, shrimp omlette, and grits-! Super cheesy delicious grits. Honestly I will order the entre next time! The omelete was more like eggs and shrimp plated together. The coffee was mediocre. It’s a cute little spot for brunch

This was such a fun and unique experience! The decor on the walls and ceiling was never ending with Pez dispensers, mannequins, dolls, antiques, and more! The staff was very friendly and helpful in terms of helping me decide what I chose to eat bc I wanted everything! The menu is breakfast and lunch. There is parking across the street and it wasnt too busy when we got there but they definitely weren’t slow! I cant wait to bring my friends and go back!

Visited Paper Moon yesterday after plant shopping with some coworkers.
I ordered Angus Burger Club & one of my coworkers ordered their shrimp wrap.
Both were absolutely delicious!
This eclectic place is jammed pack with figurines, signs & memorabilia that will keep your eye wandering the entire time yet it’s so clean, neat & organized!
I will be back! I heard their breakfast is good as well!

The food is absolutely delicious, servings are generous, and it was presented in a way that made it even look delicious. The Southern Love burger was almost more than I could eat because we also got the triple appetizer. My friend got a cheese quesadilla, and she said it was delicious. We both thought the fries were amazing. Milkshakes were also great! We both took home leftovers. The staff are wonderful and they all work together to give excellent service.

Came for a nice solo breakfast. Obviously the decor kept me occupied but the wait for my food wasn’t long at all. My homefries were already cold, though. Banana Foster French toast and bacon were good. Ordered a milkshake to go and it was ready when I was.
I didn’t interact with the staff much with it being a Sunday morning and me being only a single table, but they were nice all the same.
Coming back another time to try some things that looked good on the lunch/dinner side of the menu. I’d recommend it for solo or group dining. I did hear that the entire party has to be with you if you’re in a large group but it wasn’t said to me so please don’t quote me on that. There is a small parking lot across the street for the diner and street parking surrounding.

Papermoon Diner is one of the most unique spots in Baltimore. The outside is wild and colorful, and the inside is packed with toys, dolls, action figures, and over-the-top decor that makes it feel like an art installation-meets-retro diner.
I had the Whole Lotta Burger and sweet potato fries, both were delicious. The burger was juicy and cooked perfectly, and the fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside.
Plenty of parking across the street, great service, and just an all-around fun, funky place to grab a bite. Definitely worth a visit if you want good food in a totally unforgettable setting!
