The food is amazing! Been a few times now so we’ve tried a few different things on the menu and they’ve all been delicious. Nelson was our server and he is the best. Very attentive and makes sure you want for nothing. Will definitely be back soon.

Reviews is one of my go-to things. I love giving recognition, especially when it’s due. As a formal Store Manager in customer service/retail, I can see it all. As a customer, I am extremely thankful because service and acknowledgment is everything. This is why i took the time to actually help Nelson out with a five star review. I love coming to this one in specific (south gate) for many reasons. I do really want to take the time to give recognition to Nelson. Every, single, time, I go there, he never fails to brighten my day. He always has the same tone, smile, generosity, and attentiveness. He’s literally a living prodigy of “leave your problems at the door when you come to work.” I also over hear and see how he is to everyone else and how he addresses everyone individually. You guys definitely have a great one there. If i owned or managed a restaurant, i’d for sure want him on my team! And i know you know im not just saying this, or at least i really hope you do

Amazing Diner!!! Our server Nelson helped us out. His customer service was great, we got our food quickly and everything was perfect. They have a good at home feel atmosphere. Vibrant colors and good vibes. I had the steak&eggs with toast. It was delicious! Definitely gonna come back again

The only small downside to my particular meal was that the “fresh chips” served with my pozole were a bit stale at first. However, my server immediately noticed and offered a fresh batch right away — an impressive example of their attentiveness and commitment to customer satisfaction.
The entire restaurant staff goes above and beyond to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Everyone was kind, professional, and genuinely attentive, checking on our table multiple times during our two-hour stay. Expect 30 to 45 wait on the weekend, especially between 11am to 1pm. Only my true observations, nothing more, nothing less. My family of seven payed a reasonable price under $35 per person with cocktails and appetizers.
I’ll definitely be coming back to try everything on the menu. This place is a true gem — refined, flavorful, and filled with heart.

Great spot to have flavorfull meals, My dining experience was outstanding. The pitas chilaquiles was perfectly cooked, and the sauce really stood out. Our server was incredibly attentive.The freshest ingredients shine through in every dish, and you can really taste the care that goes into their food.

This was my first visit to The Pan, and it definitely won’t be my last. I usually go to the Long Beach location, but having this one so close to home makes me excited to return often—and to bring friends and family along.
