️ Ironically founded in New York, but I grew up visiting—and still visit—the Miami location nestled in the beautiful Bal Harbour Islands, where there are actual palm trees! While the vibe has become a bit more corporate over the years, the menu (especially the rotating specials) continues to impress, and the service remains top-notch. One small request: let’s bring in some fountain soft drinks—that’s part of the fun of dining out!

I have been here a few times before with a group and it was always a nice experience. I went today alone and unfortunately it was not a great experience. I showed up early (6:15) and the restaurant was almost empty. The manager decided to seat me in the darkest corner of the restaurant with no view at all. As a solo diner , i believe that being seated with a view is nice as you do not feel so alone.

My bread was clearly from yesterday and reheated as it was hard as a rock. When I sent it back, the new basket was fresh.

Half my oysters were completely shredded by whomever prepared the plate.

My baked potato was accompanied by refrigerated cold cheese and sour cream and cold rock hard butter. Guess what happens to the baked potato when you add all these cold condiments to them. Your end up with a cold baked potato.

Unfortunately, the person in front of the house was more interested in pleasing his « regulars «  and buddies than making sure the quality of the experience was up to par.

On a good note , my waitress Jade was spectacular!!! She picked up on my displeasure and did all she could to make things right.

Maybe someone may want to have a talk with the «  chef de cuisine » and the front of the house.

I just re- edited the review. I just got my bill and they charged me for a full bottle of wine instead of a 6oz glass. Thank god I checked.
Did they remove the 6oz glass charge as an apology, Yes!! Jade took care of it.

Extremely disappointing experience at The Palm Miami. I have been a loyal member since 1997 and have always received excellent service—until now.
On Sunday, January 25, 2026, I arrived with my husband, waiting for my daughter, and her boyfriend. Due to medical issues, I asked to wait at our table. The host was willing to accommodate me, but the manager, Michael Meyer, overrode her decision and insisted I wait at the bar or outside—even though the restaurant was at least half empty.
The manager showed no empathy, professionalism, or concern for my medical condition or long-term loyalty. As Hispanic, his dismissive behavior made me feel discriminated against. No effort was made to accommodate us or retain our business.
Since Landry’s acquired The Palm, service has declined, but this was by far the worst experience. Management training is clearly needed, or leadership should reconsider his position. There are plenty of professionals who could do a far better job. I will not be returning.

We were seated promptly after our early. arrival which appreciates that we did not have to wait for the entire party to arrive: particularly since we arrived with younger children. Our server Evan was excellent with the distribution of menu’s; explanation of the specials and his polite request for any particular beverages anyone wanted. All the children’s meals were brought out promptly and before the adults were served which was great except one steak was well done and not medium so it had to be returned. All other mains were well prepared to order and very tasty. One issue was they ran out of baked potatoes which we felt was not acceptable for a High Quality restaurant like the Palm. Six of us ended up sharing 3 baked potatoes we were able to order. Lastly, we had brought a cake that was suitable for those members of our group who have severe food allergies. When the cake was brought to the table, someone in the kitchen decided that it should have been decorated more and without asking or checking added a thick layer of whipped cream to the base – with Dairy being the worst product for someone with a life-threatening allergy to it. It closed the evening on a very poor note.

Extremely disappointing experience — especially for my wife’s 71st birthday.

We came to Palm Bay Harbor Steak House hoping to enjoy a high-quality lobster dinner, which is not easy to find in Miami. The restaurant advertises itself as an upscale, old-fashioned place, but the reality was the opposite.
• Caesar salad arrived ice-cold, clearly straight from the fridge — unacceptable for a place in this price range.
• Lobster Bisque was extremely oversalted to the point of being unpleasant.
• Our 4 lb lobster was a complete disaster — rubbery, overcooked, and nearly impossible to chew. And this was a $200 item.
• The entire bill came to $300 before tip, and not a single dish matched the quality or price.

I also noted in the reservation that we were celebrating my wife’s birthday. Not a single word from the waiter — no acknowledgment, no complimentary small dessert, nothing. Service felt indifferent at best, borderline rude.

For a restaurant that markets itself as an upscale dining experience, this was a huge letdown. We left disappointed, and sadly, won’t be returning.

Since 1923, this superb steakhouse offers outstanding aged beef cuts and seafood for the most demanding clientele. Perfectly grilled along with a wide range of delicious sides. Worth mentioning is the Lobster bisque. Service is extremely professional and the ambiance is sober and sophisticated. Highly recommended!

Wonderful Palm, we dinned at the bar – outstanding service, cocktails, conversation and food. This is a classic palm dating back into the 1980’s and still shines as one of the best places for lobster, and ribeye steaks. A top choice for Miami

A true hidden gem in Miami ✨. The food here is the real star, every dish was cooked to perfection, full of flavor and quality that exceeded expectations.

On top of that, the service from Fidel and José was excellent, adding warmth and attention to detail that made the evening even better. It’s a cozy spot, not a tourist trap but a place of true quality. The entire team, from the chef to the staff, is simply outstanding.

The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, perfect for both special occasions and relaxed dinners. Definitely a place I highly recommend and one I’ll always want to return to❤️
