The food was delicious. We had the steak and perch dinners with perogies and they were cooked to perfection. The bourbon sauce that come on the steak makes the meal!
ETA 2026- The yellow perch is an all time favorite. The French onion soup was outstanding. The bar can get a little loud the later you go, but there is a nook that you can sit in that is pretty quiet.

I am so disappointed I didn’t know about this place sooner. I’ve lived in and around Berea most of my life and somehow drove past here at least a few times a month without ever noticing it. The owner personally greeted us when we came in, made sure we felt welcomed, our server was fantastic; attentive, accurate with our orders, and also funny, I appreciated that she picked up on the vibe of our table and played off some of our jokes with each other and made sure we never had an empty glass for long. The only reason I can’t give a full five stars on the food category is that the clam chowder was, no offense, genuinely one of the worst soups I’ve ever had in my entire life, but the other soup (Chicken tort.) and all the appetizers I tried, as well as the patty melt I had as my main course were tasty enough to make up for the clam chowder. Reasonably priced beer on tap, diverse food menu with some real interesting options, friendly staff, and a convenient location. I absolutely intend to come back soon.

I like Bob the owner. Great guy. Always treated me VERY good. Thank You Bob. Pork Shnitzel is the best, especially if it’s made by Chris. But Jen “Bus Driver” is the rudest person/bartender you’ll ever come across. (ZERO) class. 2 faced to be honest.

Wow! Where do I begin? I had the Pork Schnitzel and my other half had the Perch dinner and the portions were huge and the taste was out of the world! We came to the area from over an hour away and was looking for a quick place and we’ll we can across this gem of a restaurant/bar! I would recommend this place to anyone and it will now be on my place to be away from home!

The food was pretty good. Their fries are super well seasoned, which is a big win. They seemed fresh cut too. The Mozzarella sticker were great! They were wider than most I’m used to, so you get lost of cheese. The marinara was a little thick and didn’t coat them as well as you’d like. You kind of have to scoop it out which is not a big deal. The Roman Oriole Burger was a good size and tasted good. The Gyro Tacos had actual gyro meat instead of just ground beef which was nice.
Our servers were definitely busy. They were apologizing for the wait and were running around all night. Friendly and attentive though. Maybe they were understaffed.
The Atmosphere was fine. Feels like a local dive for sure. The place could use a little a little touch up paint on the walls and maybe some TIL on the floors. The Fall Decor was cute.

We came here the other day to get their homemade spaghetti and chicken Parmesan. Absolutely delicious!!! We have never had anything from here we didn’t like. We each took half of our dinners home. Our server was Lisa, and she was super friendly and kind. Really, and great server. You have to give this place a try!!!

I got the patty melt, and it was cooked perfectly. The menu is huge, and there is something for everyone. Also, there was a list of daily specials with a lot of great items listed.

Great atmosphere. The bartender and staff were really laid back and outgoing. We didn’t eat any entrees but the menu looked delish! I do RECOMMEND getting the “Italian egg rolls” they are well worth it. I had to get half a dozen to take home lol. The pretzel was nice and soft. The mixed drinks were great and the beer was fresh!! Overall an amazing place. They do have a patio but we will wait until summer is on its way 🙂 plus they have live music!

The menu prices do not match their prices and if you mention it …..oh heavens! It says clearly that the kids menu is 4.99. I mention it and stated that it’s a little frustrating because I was only sent up so much money for the food. I was trying really hard to be nice and the last thing the lady said to me was I’ll have to come up and get a drink so I can relax and not be so stressed out over the kids menu prices. When my only concern was to make sure that she had a tip for the help, extremely condescending and rude.
Also for the record if you advertise a price, you’re supposed to honor that.
Update- the Buffalo wings do not come with sauce. The ribs are amazing
