Stopped by for lunch with the kids. It was busy so we got it to go instead of eating in. Even busy, the food was up fast. I liked watching the cooks at the grill while I was waiting. We all really liked our food. I got the spicy steak and my husband got The Hangover with the fried egg. I was a fan of the hot peppers. Mmm. We both got small cheesesteaks and it was the perfect size. I could only eat half before I was full. The kids meal was a great deal. Kids cheesesteak with fries and a drink for $8. My 5 year old took one bite of her sandwich and yelled, “STEAK & CHEESE!”…kid approved. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the chopped grilled chicken sandwiches.

Yes! Finally a place that not just makes REAL Philly cheesesteaks, but really good cheesesteaks. And I know what a good cheesesteak should be.
A bit of background. I grew up in the Philadelphia area. My family is from Dickinson St. So when I heard a place was opening that makes ‘authentic’ cheesesteaks, I had to decide for myself. Well, let me tell you, my want is over.
I watched the cook at the flattop make my sandwich, making sure he kept the spatulas moving, turning the meat, chopping in the cheese, warming up the roll. And he did it all very proficiently.
I’m glad I didn’t ask for extra meat; there’s PLENTY filling the roll. The roll….a word about the roll. A good cheesesteak is about the roll as it is the meat. I noticed boxes from Liscio’s Bakery (in Glassboro, NJ) !!! These are hands-down the best rolls to use! Every place around Philly that makes good cheesesteaks will either use Liscio’s or Amoroso rolls. So, already I’m expecting an exceptional sandwich. And, yup, that’s what I got.
Inside the warm, chewy, tasty Liscio’s roll was a sandwich packed, and I mean packed, with perfectly cooked thin-sliced ribeye (no gristle) with cheese rippling throughout. Perfectly seasoned. Not too salty. Every bite was sheer cheesesteak bliss.
Boy, did they make a great-tasting cheesesteak. Can’t wait to back and try other items, like their cheesesteak hoagie, Italian hoagie, or maybe the cauliflower sandwich.

Grand opening today and what a turnout! So nice to have this place in Madison now. They have a lot if great menu choices. Of course we had to have the original Philly cheesesteak. It was great. Unfortunately the food is incredible and I will be here wayyyyy too often! I had the BBQ chicken philly lunch combo – $10 for the philly, fries, and a drink. It was SO good. Saucy and super flavorful.

The lunch special is an amazing deal! I had the whizzy monster cheesesteak (with white american and added mushrooms) fries, and a soda for only 10 bucks Hot, fresh, and filling. The cheesesteak was melty and flavorful and I really like the rolls that they use. The fries were surprisingly good. They remind me of five guys fries. I will definitely be back to try more of the cheesesteak options.

Excellent cheese steak. Service was prompt and friendly. Our group also had the fried cheese cake, onion rings and fried cheese curds. Each was phenomenal. Will be coming back to try the other hoagies.
