I love the Original Rainbow Cone! I love taking my 6 grandchildren there. With all of the flavors available, you have a wide variety of choices to please them all! Not to mention, for my vegan choice, they offer this awesome lemon raspberry Italian ice that’s amazing! So glad to have them in the neighborhood!

We stopped by Rainbow Cone for an impromptu drive-thru visit and Tracy completely made our day! She was so cheerful, helpful and just had the best attitude. We asked (with her permission!) if she’d throw on a pumpkin head for a quick little photo-shoot moment and she actually did it! The photos came out amazing, and her positive energy made the whole experience even sweeter.

A flash from my childhood, summer days enjoying the special treat of a Rainbow Cone at its original Southside location. Now, there are two south suburban locations near me, Orland Park and this one in Flossmoor. The colorful building called to me today, so I had to hit the drive through. In flooded the hot summer memories of enjoying this Chicago ice cream institution. If you haven’t had a rainbow cone, stacked Chocolate, Strawberry, Palmer House (vanilla with cherries and walnuts), Pistachio, and Orange Sherbet on a cone or in a cup, you MUST stop by. Summer, Fall, Winter, or Spring, it doesn’t matter, just make sure you try this delicious confection once in your life…or every week. No judgement here!

Rainbow Cone in Flossmoor was really good. The ice cream comes in slices instead of scoops so you get every flavor in one bite which is super cool. The flavors all taste fresh and the portions are big. The customer service was also really good everyone was nice and helpful. I’d definitely go back!!

Me & hubby wanted to end our Valentines day off with ice cream. We stopped in the Flossmoor location and was met with the warmest welcome by Tracy K. Tracy’s attention to details (like we were Bears fans even though she’s a Packers fan), sparked a delightful conversation. She gave us a run down of the specials and left us feeling seen & appreciate. Tracy went above and beyond with exceptional customer service. Kudos Tracy!

I had the opportunity to visit and met a friend and the order taker was friendly and professional. He quickly rang up our orders. The staff was busy and they worked hard to prepare the orders. The integrity of the product was the same that I grew up with, and the restaurant was spotless. I will be planning another visit while it is still warm in Illinois. The cones were delicious as ever!

First time going here used to drive by all the time back when it was just an ice cream truck. Customer service was fantastic. I’m so glad I stopped by. My favorite was the Blueberry Waffle Cone ice cream which is a seasonal flavor. Definitely will come back.

We had a truly enjoyable experience at the Rainbow Ice Cream Shop, indulging in their scrumptious offerings. My 33-year-old grandson, who was visiting from California, wished to recreate a childhood memory by savoring a Rainbow Ice Cream Cone. As we were in the vicinity of the new location at 19805 Crawford in Flossmoor, IL, we stopped by. I was delighted to find a Vegan Cone option on the menu, while Ryan chose the Rainbow Cone and a Nutella & Banana Shake. We were both extremely pleased with our selections. The outstanding hospitality within this establishment was genuinely impressive.
