After 20 years away from my home town it was nice to stop by my favorite pizza place to get the pizza that I was dreaming to get back to. My my dream was smashed when I recieved the pizza. Nothing was right. The dough, the cheese, was all wrong. The pepperoni was less than normal. The pizza was over cooked to the point the crust was hard as a rock. I spent my whole high school eating this pizza so I know that they changed it alot. When Pappa died so didn’t his special recipe for true Italian pizza. I left town very disappointed !!!

There is NO SUBSTITUTION, for Pizza Place Pizza and there’s no substitution for the ORIGINAL!! It may not be the cheapest in Parkersburg or Marietta but when you consider the price of 3 happy meals and 2 adult entrees at McDonald’s, a $23.25 delicious, handmade from scratch, Pizza with handgraited cheese and fresh meats and vegetables baked to order. Not to mention every order is special and treated that way.

Best dag gone pizza around. May cause a vessel or two to get clogged but their pizza is already to die for. More pepperoni the more grease just the way I like it. The Grand Central Mall has the cheapest price and it’s pricey but it’s worth every penny. Nobody can match any other food to other places.. Will always get one every month, no need to push the heart any further.

This is at Grand Central Mall in Vienna,WV. Good to see this local business still here. Just stopped in after about 10yrs of not having it. Years ago The Original Pizza Place was the place for pizza and more…… Definitely not now!! Extremely disappointed!!☹ Way over priced @ $3.50 per slice! The pepperoni thick slice has more crust than toppings and no flavor! I wander if it will be good or bad in another 10yrs, because that might when I try it again?? I doubt it!!
