Literally just walked out of this place and cannot wait to go back! We have serious gluten allergies and always have to be cautious of where we eat so finding this gem made our day! The staff was attentive and friendly, we were spoken to by a manager no less than three times to ensure that our food was good. Phenomenal food! Truly cannot say enough about the food, the quantity for the price, even the hot chocolate was terrific! All three of us are celiac had different variations of crêpes that are a must try! If there’s a wait time, it’s well worth the wait! Thankful to the staff at OPH for filling our bellies on our travels through Minnesota.

My girlfriend and I were in town from Detroit, and looking for a local breakfast gem. We decided to take our shot with The Original Pancake House of Maple Grove and it did not disappoint our server Kaci addressed all of our needs and requests promptly, allowing us to never feel we were on our own. I got the Lumberjack breakfast bowl; delicious. She got an order of eggs and the sausage gravy. Kaci was kind enough to help her with some accommodations to her meal (recent jaw surgery) so she was able to enjoy a meal for the first time in a few days.
Last but not least or least, the pancakes are what you come here for. Golden brown, fluffy and ready to absorb the perfect amount of butter and syrup for every bite.
Side.note: my girl got me one of their mugs they have for sale at the front. Very retro and cool. Old school Midwest breakfast joint vibes.

Ashley was amazing! She greeted us with warm coffee and a bright, welcoming smile, helped us choose our order, and made us feel so comfortable. We honestly loved her even more than the breakfast—her warmth made the whole experience even better. Great service at Grove location!

Had the Cajun andouille sausage hash with an upgrade to cinnamon brioche French toast with caramel sauce. Absolutely incredible, I love the cinnamon swirl brioche! Our server, Dai, was super friendly and had great recommendations for us. They suggested strawberry syrup for my husband’s peanut butter pancakes which were a delight. ✨
Wait time for food was short despite how packed the restaurant was for Saturday brunch. My husband and I love OPH and will be back again as always.

I’ve been here many times and I love EVERYTHING! The food, the atmosphere, the whole experience is lovely. They consistently check in on you, your food comes out fast, it’s always delicious! The only con is when you don’t make a reservation you’ll have to wait, so make that reservation!

I drove ten hours to find this place (no joke) and I can say without a doubt it was worth the effort. Best brunch I’ve EVER HAD. Service was exceptional (shoutout to our service Adam!), and the food simply cannot be beat. Try the apple pancake soufflé and it will change your life forever. You won’t regret it!

Been living in Minneapolis for about five years now (as an East Coast transplant) and had heard so much about this place! Finally got to go for the first time and I wanna say—I loved it. I got the campfire hash with just buttermilk pancakes and Molly was kind enough to put in an ask for the cinnamon swirl pancake for me and it was to die for. I would absolutely come back!

Fantastic! We picked two entrees to split and they brought them out pre-divided without us even asking — on the day after Christmas when they were packed! Our server was great and helped us get the perfect order. Absolutely delicious food and great coffee too! This is really the kind of business that reminds you what 5/5 stars should represent on Google Maps.

I had an absolutely amazing experience at The Original Pancake House in Maple Grove! My server, Sandy, was outstanding—attentive, friendly, and truly made me feel welcome. The food was delicious, fresh, and honestly some of the best I’ve had. The eggs tasted like a velvet delight, fluffy and cooked to perfection.
What made the visit even more special was when Manager Stacy stopped by my table. She was warm, genuine, and we had such a fun conversation—especially bonding over our shared love for the Vikings! It’s rare to find both excellent service and excellent food in one place, but this restaurant delivers both perfectly.
I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great meal and a wonderful dining experience.
