At the Original Pancake House in Denver we serve a delicious variety of breakfast and brunch favorites including pancakes of all kinds, crepes, French toast, fluffy omelets, Belgian waffles, benedicts and other hearty egg plates. Feature dishes are the German style oven baked Dutch Baby Pancake and Apple Pancake – both customer favorites for many years. Other favorites are corned beef hash and eggs, thick cut honey cured bacon and eggs, biscuits with homemade sausage gravy and fabulous, locally made green chile served on unique omelettes and benedicts. We also offer gluten-free pancakes and lighter items such as fresh fruit, Greek yogurt, homemade granola and old-fashioned thick rolled oats. And try our fresh orange and grapefruit juices.

Absolutely love this place. From the Bacon and Eggs to the absolutely delectable Dutch Baby everything is fantastic. The service is always top notch and you just can’t beat the ability to add your name to the wait list while on your way to the restaurant. This is the “Bacon & Egg” breakfast with a couple of alterations: the breakfast typically comes with four (4) strips of their famous thick-cut bacon, two eggs (cooked to order), and their seasoned, diced potatoes, and a stack of three buttermilk pancakes. I added an egg and I requested BUCKWHEAT pancakes substituted for the buttermilk pancakes. I love Buckwheat cakes and these are best around. Tip: I also prefer honey instead of maple syrup on Buckwheat pancakes, and they have honey available, but I opted to go with their yummy maple syrup on this day. They have a (reasonably) endless cup of coffee also with pretty good flavor.

Loved the OPH in Oregon, this one wasnt as good but its still probably my second choice for a delicious breakfast! The dutch baby was so sweet and with a touch of acidic lemon squeeze, it was perfect. We also got the green chile omelet which was super fluffy and the green chile was seasoned perfectly.

Received a friendly welcome at the door, I was quickly seated and within a minute received another friendly welcome by my server. The servers here are very fast and friendly. The coffee is very good and the portions are more than enough. I love bacon and true southern style breakfast and this place more than satisfied that craving. Thank you. First time eating here and we were really impressed. We ordered the Cowboy Omelette (love the sauce it was smothered with) and the Dutch baby (huge!). I also love their in-house coffee, which tasted great even without cream or sugar. Our server Tony was attentive, efficient, and always smiling—five star service! Suffice to say this’ll be a regular brunch spot for us.

definitely plan to get on their waitlist an hour before you wanna eat on the weekends, they’re busy! but that didn’t stop our server Miguel M from getting everything in our order 100% right (we had a big group), refilling coffees and waters asap, and being so nice! love the vibes and the pink holiday decor they have going on right now! they have gluten free pancakes, as well as specialty gf pancakes! love love love when I have options. absolutely worth the wait.
