I had the western omelette and short stack.
The service was really quick and food excellent.
The peppers in the omelette were very fresh and not overcooked. Plenty of leftovers for a second meal. This restaurant has consistently been excellent over the years.

I always enjoy my breakfast here! It’s usually very busy. I went in the middle of a snow storm, so it was quiet. I and my party talked for hours and they were kind not to put us out. The pancakes are malted and the bacon is sooooo good. About 25 bucks for cakes, bacon, eggs w/cheese and coffee. The service is always good. The place is clean and well kept, including the washrooms! Try it, you’ll like it! I did!

Food is good. One of the few places around to get potato pancakes! We ordered eggs Benedict, eggs Michael ( constructed like eggs Benedict but with sausage and a mushroom sherry sauce instead of hollandaise) has always been a favorite because you can’t get it anywhere else around us. Also ordered biscuits and gravy and a skillet. Everything was good. A few changes and I would have given 5 stars. Let’s start with the biscuits and gravy.. the gravy was creamy with ground sausage.. with a slight peppery punch… but the biscuits were hard as a rock and had they not been covered in gravy we couldn’t have even eaten them… they were also not hot enough… if i had to guess from my experience in a kitchen the biscuits are premade or frozen and they defrost/ reheat as necessary to save on waste/cost but when you do this they turn hard as a rock… nope a biscuit should be fresh and moist and tender… not taste like a hard scone!!! It was $14 just for 2 stale biscuits smothered in cold gravy.. sad because it has the potential to be delicious. The Benedicts were very tasty but also lacking in sauce. I like sauce on every bite… the potato pancakes were delicious and we will definitely return for those. Overall food was very good considering they were swamped. Our server was sweet and attentive. … and with just a few tweaks easily a 5 star meal. If you’re looking for atmosphere, you won’t get that here. They remodeled to cram as many people into the space as possible… so it’s 4 white walls with a bunch of tight squeeze tables / booths… I’ve seen hospital cafeterias with a more welcoming vibe than this… bit clearly it doesn’t hurt their business because it is always packed.

Another great experience at Original Pancake House.

This is the second time we’ve been here in the past 2 years. Today, they were only moderately busy whereas last year, they were maxed.

So we got seated right away and water and menus were delivered quickly.

Our server showed up quickly too. She took our orders and promptly returned with coffee.

The coffee was hot and she returned often for refills. Breakfast came out about 15 minutes later and was as ordered.

The 3 of us had:
– 49’ers Flapjacks
– Corned Beef Hash and Soft-scrambled Eggs
– Scrambled Eggs with Sausage Links and Pancakes

My wife enjoyed her flapjacks. These are unique too. Sort of a mix between a regular pancake and a crepe. They are thin, not fluffy and sort of rubbery. Sounds weird but it’s great.

My sister-in-law enjoyed her eggs, sausage and pancakes.

I also enjoyed my Corned Beef Hash and Eggs. I did need to salt the hash just a touch. The eggs were perfectly soft-scrambled too.

We enjoy eating here and look forward to coming back next time we’re in the area.

Best pancakes I’ve ever had in my god damn life and I don’t usually like pancakes. I had to write a review bc they’re just that good omg. And I got the veggie skillet and coffee and both are BANGING. 10/10 please give my compliments to the chef. Give them a lil kiss for me bc this was sooo good even the coffee was delicious

The coffee tasted like cigarettes, the syrup was watered down and tasted like sugar water, and the manager was being rude to people for no reason. The restaurant was empty and she had an attitude with people kindly asking to be seated. As a loyalist to the Beverly Pancake House location, this place was complete garbage. Don’t waste your money.

Ordered Breakfast Via GRUB HUB, so my only complaint is that of course one pays so much more for items than if dined in. Take out: Pics attached & are all from the extra menu w/ exception of the grits. The quality was good. Beware, I’ve ordered the skillet before & the chopped potatoes under the eggs are orange in color and have very little veggie as it’s pictured on the website. I’d order again as needed for the convenience.

Dine In: additional pics included from our dine in experience. There was plenty free parking in the attached parking lot. There was no line, no waiting on a random weekday (brunch time). The food came quickly & it was delish! The waitress got our order correct & while the menu prices were reasonable my only message to the owner would be to lower the cost of a cup of coffee. For a cup of black coffee with flavored creamer should not be $3.99! Come on. That’s crazy. Attached is the receipt and the pics from our done in experience. I will say the tables & floors & menu’s were clean & I appreciated that. We tipped 30% because we wanted to show our appreciation for the meal being yummy & the waitress (Elena) getting our order correct. I’d recommend this place for breakfast or brunch. 🙂

Great place to grab breakfast. Arrive before 9:30am because the place folks up quick. The women’s bathroom has tiny stalls and there are only 2 of them. You’re given large portions by attentive servers and only 1 payment for coffee yields free refills.
