Came here on Halloween and was it an experience
I had a Monster energy drink and two coffees before coming here and I was STARVING
Hailie our server was super awesome and got me French fries within minutes of letting her know I was starving.
She was so patient with us and by the time I was ready to order I was already kind of full, so she let me order off the kids menu. I had a cheeseburger and MORE fries which came in this really cute little teal and pink car . *see pic
Babe had a steak said it was the best he’s had here.

Fun ambience, fast service, reasonable prices and fantastic food. Each table has a jukebox speaker that can play your favorite songs from the good ol’ days for a mere quarter. I would have taken a photo of the food but it looked so good I forgot! I will definitely be making Mel’s Diner a tradition for date night.

The food was surprisingly good. Good burger I had. My kid got chicken tenders with fries…it’s a large portion of tenders btw…enough for 2 kids. Kid also got a yummy shake.
Had to pull a star off for our server…she told me they were out of Modelo, but 5 minutes later another party was seated behind us with a different server, and they ordered 3 Modelos…which came ice cold to their table in short order. So maybe she thought they were out… Not a big deal, but our server didn’t come check on us after our food was served, didn’t offer to refill iced tea, nor did she look when I tried to flag her down a couple of times for a to-go box for the aforementioned excess tenders and fries (got it from an attentive busboy, who earned them back a service star). The place was not packed at all; eventually she came by with the check. Everything was great, unfortunately she was not fully engaged that night.

I ordered the crispy chicken salad and my husband ordered the 3 eggs and bacon combo. The food was great and our first waitress was great. It was a Saturday, so there were a good amount of people eating at the diner. The parking was kind of funky as the lot in front of the building was a bit small and we have to park in the back lot. Fortunately, there was a decent amount of lights to illuminate the parking lot. We both recommend coming here to eat. We’d visit again.

I usually grab take-out and don’t sit for service so I do not know how the service is. However, my takeout is always right and they pack the items accordingly. For example, they will separate the sauce and wrap the pickles so it doesn’t ruin the bread or patty in a burger. This location is a bit smaller than other Mel’s locations but the food is still amazing.

I’ve never gotten less than great service at this location. The food is diner comfort food done right. The original eclectic wall art restaurant and one of my goto restaurants for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast specials every weekday, including steak and eggs. My top recommendations are the Chili Dog, Patty Melt, and the Hangover. The chicken strips platter and the sampler are both awesome too.

I like coming here once in awhile because you get cold beer with your breakfast I think the food tastes better than Denny’s the atmosphere is really cool and nice and old school definitely recommend coming to check the place out

Absolutely LOVE! We got stuck in the menu for way too long because of all the options, finally decided and were brought huge servings of the best breakfast foods, cooked perfectly, by the most amazing server I think I’ve ever had. This will forever be a stop when visiting the grandbabies!!! I really wish we had gotten the servers name, she was perfection. Thank you for such excellent food, service, atmosphere and friendly experience, what a blast : )
