I have passed by this place many times and frequent the Saint Francis location more when it was still there. Me and my friend where in the area and we were both hungry where we needed something to eat since we just got off from work. We were researching the area and noticed this place was open, so we both agreed to give this place a shot. Upon arrival, it was not busy and was greeted by one of their friendly staffs. I needed some time to browse through their menu, which they offer authentic dishes from the Philippines such as silogs, mami (Noodle soup), appetizers/small eats, combo meals and much more to choose from. I found what I wanted even though everything looked good at the moment. Everything here is made to order which is always a plus for me since it is quality over quantity and I never mind the wait since I am a very patient person. As time went by, the place quickly filled up with customers. The food came out super quick and it was time to feast. The staffs here are very polite, helpful and understanding where my visit was a satisfying and issue free one. You can order in person or have it delivered to you via a delivery app. I highly recommend this place to anyone that loves Filipino food, to anyone willing to try something new, if you need a quick bite or if you just so happen to be in the area to check them out. I definitely will be back to tryout the other delicious options they have to offer.

COMPARE SIZE OF MY FINGERS to the Chicken in video. SELLING DREAMS.
Called and they SAID $16 for one order, when I got there they charged me $17.
1. Bought Peri-Peri Chicken around 5:00pm. BADLY BURNED Chicken.
SEEMS as if it was reheated in the MICROWAVE. Cause instead of being fresh it’s a bit Chewy than normal and gets hard real quick. You know how microwaved foods are.
There is 2 pieces of chicken. One piece HAS MEAT the 2nd PIECE is basically BONE.
2. They SKIMP on the RICE AND IT IS HARD & CHEWY. Not coming back.

A lot of people love to regard some restaurants as “authentic,” but I disagree with a lot of their reviews because what really is authentic when it comes to Filipino food where there are so many regions and food flavors and their authenticity is just as varied.

However, these folks serve some of the quintessential Filipino dishes, the mainstream ones you’d expect from a Manila restaurant. Their flavors are spot on and if you’re hankering for the classic taste, this place hits the spot.

They say that over time, as generations go by, people lose a bit of their culture, whether it’s traditions, religion, clothing styles, but what tends to linger through all that is their taste for food. I think that any Filipino would appreciate how this place remains true to the originality of its Filipino-ness.

And if you haven’t ever had Filipino food and are willing to jump in for a try, this is a good place for your starter restaurant. A word of warning, it’s a place you’d be wanting to go back to over and over again!

I am writing to share my recent experience at your restaurant, which unfortunately left me very dissatisfied.

I ordered the Bangus & Tocino Combo Meal priced at around $15. The portion sizes and quality did not meet expectations:

• Only a quarter piece of milkfish and a very small portion of tocino were served.
• The fried egg was unusually small, comparable to a quail egg.
• The garlic rice lacked flavor and was tasteless.
• The orange juice provided was powdered, not fresh.

Additionally, we ordered Tokwat Baboy, which was mostly dry tofu with very little meat. This was disappointing, as the dish traditionally balances tofu and pork.

As a Filipino, I felt embarrassed recommending your restaurant to others, because the food did not reflect the generosity and flavor that Filipino cuisine is known for. For the price charged, the meal did not provide fair value, nor did it honor the cultural pride associated with these dishes.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and consider improving portion sizes, flavor quality, and authenticity. Otherwise, I regret to say I will not be returning.

Decent, but lacks a home-cooked taste quintessential to any Filipino food establishment. A compelling American dream story of the restaurant’s founder.

Typical Filipino food but it’s my comfort food especially on my cheat day. Their tapa and Ticino is flavorful especially when dipped in vinegar.

My go to restaurant when I feel like eating Filipino breakfast dish considering they have plenty of parking. I have tried the longsilog, corn beef silog, lechón kawali silog and the tocino silog. My favorite is the long silog and tocino silog. Don’t get me wrong, I also like the lechón kawali silog but it’s not good for the heart to eat it all the time.

Oh I wish I lived closer to St Francis Square in Daly City where Kadok’s is, because I really enjoyed the Filipino food there. I especially like the Bangsilog, which is the tasty Bangus fish from the Philippines with rice topped with a fried egg. I’d love to go back and try the other dishes.

Love the taste of their food. Some of the food they serve is a product of their own innovation. Lutong bahay talaga.
Servers are also friendly.
