I was the lucky winner to win a FREE $50 Giftcard to this place and I’ve never been to here personally. The atmosphere is cozy and the staff was very nice. Abby was our waitress and she was very friendly and nice the entire time with some nice jokes along the way. She treated us with respect. We ordered a large pizza for 6 to 12 people. It was just me and my 2 parents and we completely finished the whole pizza without a problem. We are pretty fit/ small and still was able to completely finish it. I will definitely come again and recommend for anybody else to come check it out. Great little pub with tvs for sporting events. March Madness was playing on all of the tvs when we went. Highly recommend this place!!

Great thin crust pizza and other items. The “VIP” is our staple order. Carryout is always easy and dining in is relaxed and casual in this northwoods style sports “pizza pub”. Extremely family friendly. Depending on the day, they can a little slim staffed for table service. Salad and a wine karafe is always an easy add for us. GF and Cauliflower crusts available for 10in that my kids really like. (but not sure how celiac safe cooking practices are)

Grew up in Palatine and on JJ Twigs! Hands down the best “tavern” thin crust style in the area and beyond. My husband grew up in Barrington, never had JJ Twigs. Once he did, blown away and big fan! Always our go to for so many occasions, a Sunday night in and especially hosting parties. Consistently delicious! Quality ingredients. Highly recommended ordering it “Extra Cripsy, Extra Thin, Well done, Extra Sauce” you won’t regret it!

This has some of the best cracker thin pizza in the northwest suburbs. Fantastic crunch that does not skip the flavor.
Sausage was perfect with a blend of fennel and oregano.
The atmosphere is very quaint. With a feeling of an old road tavern.

I brought my family here after my grandson’s soccer win ⚽️ ! Yea Go Chile !!! Lol The service was good and the wings were phenomenal. Our server Natalie was awesome and very attentive. This was our first time dining in, but had ordered from here once before. I have to say I was a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the establishment atmosphere. It was a bit empty, outside of us and another couple. There were crumbs under all the tables at the end of the dining room, and there was a taped up broken window (I’m not sure how long it’s been that way). My daughter’s Caesar salad had too many croutons and the breaded chicken strips were dry, so she didn’t want it. We had to sit there for 15 minutes for them to remove the salad from our bill and they were not happy about it. I was told by the server that she couldn’t remove the salad from the meal and that we had to wait until a manager actually came to the restaurant to remove it. The manager, Todd, was actually very pleasant about the situation and took the critism and the floors well. If you want to try the pizza and wings, I would suggest them because they are great. Other than that, I would just order delivery but I will visit the Palatine location again and give it another try.

I haven’t been to JJ Twig’s’s in six months. Used to go at least two times a month. Had the mastacholli with meat sauce and meatballs plus garlic bread. My server Mary was fantastic as was the food! Will always be a customer! Bob Maloney

JJ Twigs offers a warm selection of comfort classics, aimed at ensuring you leave with a full belly, and then some. Takeout/Delivery service is also excellent, beats the heck out of third-party delivery options. Worth a stop!
