My family and I came late at night to have some pizza. We ended up helping a man outside and got him some food. The people working there were very kind and allowed him to come in and sit next to us to eat his pizza.
The pizza was soooooo good!! It took a bit to come out which meant it was fresh and it was definitely worth the wait.

So I have been working downtown on a project for the last year and the original Giovanni on 5th has been our go-to spot for our construction guys. Today was one of our guys birthdays and one of our co-workers suggested we put a nice gesture on the pizza for him LOL. So I called Giovanni’s and I kindly requested if they were able to resemble a shape with pepperonis for one of our co-workers. The lady on the phone was very accommodating and understanding and she told me she was able to fulfill my request. To my and my coworkers delight, they were able to put a shape of, as called out in the famous Austin Powers Scene ……. “Johnson” ”Dick”, “Pecker”, “Wang”, Willie”, “Tallywhacker”, “Schlong”, “Weinee”
“One-eyed monster”, “Woody”!!!!!! Needless to say, the workers here go above and beyond to accommodate anybody’s request. Y’all are much appreciated!!!! Oh yeah, and the pizza by the way was tasty as always (no pun intended)

I kept hearing amazing things about this place and let me tell you it was all true!!! Staff was super cool! Pizza was DELICIOUS . Price was great also. I hate going anywhere myself and they def made me feel welcomed and not a loser for being alone lmao DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TRYING!!

I ordered a medium Italian calzone absolutely loved it, I misunderstood the size of the calzones since there aren’t any dimensions listed on the menu but I received one large enough for two people! I can’t really complain as the more food the merrier. However do keep in mind that sauce is offered separately so for the breadier portions of said calzone make sure you ask for one on the side. The restaurant is cozy I enjoyed dining in.

I ordered a chicken salad! Which the chicken was frozen cold! The cheese on top was not melted! They give you more salad than meat and fries! It’s really highway robbery! But that’s everywhere. This was the last straw for me. And I was a loyal customer. Now ya lost me. I’m good! NEVER AGAIN! Horrible what you see in the pic is literally all I got. I did add the ranch before the pic but just don’t buy the chicken salad.

What an absolute wonderful place. The pizza is cooked perfectly with the perfect ratio of sauce to meat to cheese. The staff and customers here made it feel like I was at a family function with how heartwarming everyone was. I will 100% be making a trip back here when I come back to Pittsburgh

The Supreme hoagie is 10 outta 10 stars. Atmosphere is kinda average but whatever, get a sandwich and a sixer to go and you will not be disappointed!

The person taking my order and the delivery driver were both extremely helpful. The only problem was the steak wedgie had so much mayonnaise on it that it was inedible. Tried scraping it off but it wasn’t salvageable.
