If you’re craving authentic Filipino comfort food, Barrio Fiesta in Upland delivers in every way. From the warm, welcoming service to the bold, nostalgic flavors, this spot truly feels like home.

We ordered a great variety of dishes, and every single one was a hit in generous portions:

• Crispy Pusit – Perfectly fried, light, and crispy without being greasy. Seasoned just right and incredibly addictive paired with vinegar.
• Kare Kare – Rich, creamy peanut sauce with tender meat and fresh vegetables. Deeply flavorful and comforting — one of the highlights of the meal. Paired with yummy bagoong.
• Lechon Kawali – Crunchy skin with juicy, tender pork inside. Exactly how lechon kawali should be done.
• Lumpiang Sariwa – Fresh, light, and flavorful, topped with a savory-sweet sauce that balanced everything beautifully.

To drink, we had Sago Gulaman and Kalamansi juice, both incredibly refreshing and the perfect pairing for the richness of the food. The Kalamansi juice had just the right tang, while the Sago Gulaman was lightly sweet and cooling.

Portions were generous, flavors were spot-on, and everything tasted freshly prepared. There’s also a separate area for small functions. Barrio Fiesta is the kind of place you’d like to come back to again and again — whether you grew up with Filipino food or are discovering it for the first time.

Highly recommended! ️

Home of The classic Filipino foods! Best crispy pata and Kare Kare. I also ordered their crispy fried chicken, and it was juicy and savory. Got the lechon kawali as well. Their drink sagot Gulaman is really good! My only concern is they share their restroom with the hotel next door. Service was good and we were seated and greeted well. We will definitely go back!

Food server Bong was very attentive and courteous.
Their solo special actually can serve more than 2 people and therefore very reasonable.
Crispy Pata was crispy outside and yet tender inside.
