The food was incredible. The grape leaves tasted just like how my great-aunt used to make hers (but with extra olive oil lol), which made it feel even more special and nostalgic.
The staff were incredibly polite — special shout-out to Yusef, our server! Management was also very courteous and welcoming. The entire restaurant and team gave such a warm, homie vibe that made us feel comfortable right away.
We came all the way from Connecticut, and it was absolutely worth the hour wait!
The only small area that could use a little improvement would be organizing a clearer plan for guests waiting to be seated. Other than that, I swear this is one of the best places to be.
Again, special shout-out to our server Yusef — thank you for making our experience even better!
The ambiance was also really nice. It’s not as extravagant as their other location, but it’s still very well maintained, and the Palestinian decor on the walls gives it a warm, welcoming feel.
The mint lemonade is refreshing & not overly sweet.
You can tell their ingredients are really fresh, the seasoning is so well balanced and reasonably portioned. We ordered quite a lot and was surprised with how each dish was better than the next. We’ll definitely be coming here often.
The first time I went to this place, I had the freekeh soup with pita chips with zataar, with olive oil. Then I had the yogurt sauce with cucumbers and mint. But the best part of my first time dining here in honor of Palestinian National Day was the Palestinian Kidreh which came with roasted chicken. I love olive oil and that includes Palestinian olive oil.
Today, I visited this place after an entire year from the last one in honor of Palestine again. I loved the chicken musakhan (the national dish of Palestine) which consisted of roasted chicken, allspice, onions, saffron, and sumac over baked taboon bread; and homemade Arabian brewed mint tea. Lastly, I loved the olives. I am glad to have visited this place twice.
This location is excellent to pickup from, Look for their app on either android/iphone. The Little Falls location boasts a… quasi-outdoor dine-in area, where you’re not really outside but the light all comes in perfectly through the glass. Love eating in daylight! (Hint: WiFi pass is Palestine) for OliveBistroGuest, Capital P!
I highly recommend heading to their new location off Rt. 46 for sitting down and eating with larger groups, it’s much bigger but with an identical menu! For us locals, you’re looking for where Maple Valley diner used to be… As for me, I think I’ll be sticking with our sweet little spot in Little Falls, more quiet & simple.
Be sure to check for additional lunch specials only available for dine-in, up till 3PM. For online orders, you can only get the pita sandwich from their lunch specials at this time, but you may be able to call in for others?
