All right, sorry to do this, but not sorry because this was ridiculous. I went to Olde Oak for dinner around 7 p.m. It started off okay, but then I quickly realized that both of the bartenders were trashed. Everyone else in the bar was also messy, which, of course, is expected in a bar; however, at the same time, it’s 7:00 p.m., and everyone there was a mess. To get to my point, the food was really bad! The fries were delicious, but everything else was just subpar or terrible.
My friend ordered the falafel wrap, and the falafel was just pieces of ground-up veggie burger in a TORTILLA. See the attached picture, it was just a black bean rice burger broken up with avocado. For anyone that doesn’t know, that’s not falafel. I ordered a chili dog, and they messed that up too.
Both of the bartenders were so drunk that they didn’t even realize what was going on. Yeah, I won’t be going there ever again. It was embarrassing to witness and be a part of. I also spent nearly $80 on terrible food and service.

Unless you’re a regular don’t bother. You will be ignored and will not be informed of up charges. Then you’ll get your bill and see why… they auto gratuity 20%. They were happily socializing with the regulars and acted like we were bothering them after trying to get their attention asking to order a drink. Not a good experience. Overpriced as well.

We ordered the Sweet Heat Burger and Buffalo wings. The wings were smokey and very tasty. We shared the burger and thought it was just the right about of sweet and spice. Bonus points for splitting are burger and fries for us.
Nice little neighborhood tavern. We will return.

Nice, big, spacious bar with high tables, low tables, complimented with alike seating. Delicious signature drinks accompanied with cool music and a great crowd. Delicious food and excellent service. Thank you to Johnny and Alex. Celebrated two birthdays at The Olde Oak and it was the perfect setting. Parking lot across the street as well and meter free parking on the same street. One pool table available and the interior decor is a work of art. I have been visiting The Old Oak at least once a week and the experience is always memorable. The crowd and staff makes this bar welcoming and it’s always a blast.

Service was really lacking, super loud, good food. We went for the wing night special $.75 wings. They came out super fresh and hot, the steak was rolling off of them. I got the fries with the homemade aioli, which also came out hot and fresh. Really loved the food! Service could’ve been better but I feel for them as only 2 people were running around covering all the tables.

Killer murals on the walls. Good jazz band played tonight, Jimmi Love. Cheap quality hot dog for dinner, rest of the menu looked good. A lady was doing a painting while the band played. Great atmosphere.

Nice spot for dinner, the garage doors were open and there was a nice breeze with the ambiance. It had your average bar menu items, tacos were cheap and the wings were pretty delicious. The waiter was excellent, he answered all our questions as well as letting us get a flight of beer, had a great time and would love to come back.

So I wanted a hamburger and wanted to try a different spot. I was driving downtown and stopped at stop light on the corner of Parsons and Oak. I see this spot open and pull them up online, come to find out it’s $5 Hamburger Monday.
