Very authentic Italian place. Good service and excellent food quality and quantity.

Something to improve:
Some Italian music in the background would add nice ambience. I also suggest offering Pizza even as an appetizer. Olive oil on the table would also add value.

Food was good and reasonably priced. Customer service was great! Can’t beat the price of a 3 course meal and all that comes with it. I love their hot bread before dinner also. We had the chicken Parmigiano and chicken masala.

I hadn’t been to the Old Spaghetti Factory since the late 90’s/early 2000’s down on the landing.
Thought of this place and been wanting to come by since passing it a few weeks ago while going through the valley. Had the garlic shrimp fettuccine ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ . Foot was cooked perfectly!
Our server, Madison, was very personal and was very nice and accommodating.
Would definitely return in the near future!

Super cute place. Love the three course meal. Pizza bread was super tasty. And the strawberry lemonade was spot on. Very nostalgic for me as we used to go to the one downtown STL as a kid. Went as a family and everyone left happy & full. Would definitely go again.

Our Service Was Fine, But the Family Next to Us Was Completely Invisible, And No One Cared
It was at Chesterfield, MO location.
My date and I had a perfectly okay meal here, we really don’t come for just the food, but the experience. Our server was on point, drinks and bread came right away, food arrived without issues. The restaurant seemed to be running normally for everyone else; staff were busy but handling tables smoothly.
The table right next to us, though…a family with parents, two older kids and 3 younger ones, and grandpa…was treated like they didn’t exist! They were one of the first tables seated after opening, yet for what felt like 30-40 minutes, no one brought them anything! Not drinks, not bread, nothing! We saw newer tables get seated, served full courses, and some even finish and leave while this family just sat there empty handed. It was bizarre and uncomfortable to watch.
This girl bartender with face piercings eventually took their drink order (she seemed a bit off, but whatever), but even that was delayed. Still no bread or follow up. The dad stayed calm, got up to talk to the manager who I guess was this young guy in a casual short sleeved tropical shirt, exposed tattoos on his arms, and a bunch of keys hanging off him like he was maintenance or something – but definitely didn’t seem like management, but to my dismay, yep – he was.
When the dad came back to the table, we overheard him tell his family something like, “The manager’s not doing anything to help… he’s basically just condoning this horrible service.” And it was true: the hostess, other servers, even the manager himself were all pitching in around the room, helping other tables, but no one, not a single staff member, stepped in for this family! It genuinely felt like the entire staff was ignoring them on purpose, like they were invisible or blacklisted or something. No one even glanced their way.
After another stretch of nothing, the family quietly gathered their things and walked out, looking crushed. They’d mentioned being longtime regulars, coming for years.
Our experience was fine, nothing to complain about personally. But seeing an entire restaurant staff, including the manager, let a family sit neglected like that while everyone else got normal service? It was appalling. Made us lose any appetite for coming back for overpriced spaghetti.
If you’re not the one they decide to ignore, maybe it’s okay for the atmosphere, but after witnessing that level of indifference, hard no from us for a $1 box of noodles and $7 jar of marinara sauce.

So the misses felt like spaghetti and meatballs, we stopped for her to try them out here. I wish I could give this place a good review. The service was wonderful, the inside was very nice, and the bar was well stocked, and looked great. Bread with butter was nice as well. Now for the Cons, they give military discounts ONLY ON TUESDAYS. I appreciate any one who gives military, police, and Fire Dept a discount, but limiting it to one day is kinda sad. How about 10% on Tuesday and 5% the rest of the time. The second was the salad, it was ok, Not even close to Olive garden salad, could be a little fresher, The spaghetti and meatballs was lacking, the spaghetti tasted like plain regular spaghetti at the supermarket for a dollar, and the meat balls were a little smaller than I expected (that’s what she said). Not much, just a little. The meatballs also were very plain, no seasoning. I didn’t taste garlic, onion, or anything. I didn’t even pick up on any real flavor. Also, not really a meaty flavored either. Tasted more like filler/bread than actual beef. Chef Boyardee meat balls have more flavor. Really sad, she is Italian, and I love good flavor. For a dish that’s $20.00 with a very small salad, and one small scoop of ice cream, the price doesn’t fit the food you get. For bland meatballs, I expect at least 3-4 of that size, with maybe some more sauce with more flavor to counter the lack of flavor from the meat. The sauce seemed pretty basic. Maybe it was a bad night for meatballs, and sauce. Ice cream at the end was fine, 1 small scoop of chocolate, cherry, pistachio. That was good. I don’t think I will come here again unless a group I am with really wants too. And I’ll update if I do. Last thoughts, if you’re doing a family owned, and pure Italian family operated restaurant, please make sure at least the spaghetti and meatballs taste like it is an Italian family recipe. Not a bland, bread ball, that tastes like the same bread from the table.

The visual presentation of the dishes were perfect. The actual taste was mediocre. The calamari did not have any seasoning but was cooked better than most places (meaning that it wasn’t saturated in grease). The pasta noodles had a good taste but I had barely any sauce. My salad had all wilted, brown lettuce that looked like it came from a bag. I couldn’t even eat it because it tasted old and I didn’t want to get sick.

I was generous with my rating because our server was very nice and attentive. He definitely carried our restaurants experience on his shoulders. If the service would have been bad, the rating would have been a 1/5. We came on a family night before our show so the meal was pretty expensive. I would expect mid level meals at fast-food places but not a sit down family restaurant, known for their dishes. We won’t be back.

It was our first time going to this location. Food was good and the inside was really unique and quaint. Our server was really nice but even after telling her that we had never eaten there before she wasn’t helpful when asking another menu.

The is the first time at this location and the first time in the last few years that we’ve been to The Old Spaghetti Factory. The lasagna was very good and the best part of the meal. The Fettuccine Alfredo needed more sauce and was not mixed well with hunks of noodles sticking together. Still not a fan of the garlic cheese bread, it used to be the absolutely best thing you could order. The service was great and enjoyed the atmosphere.

We tried the Chesterfield location today. Kind of neat decor inside , even has a trolley car. We had the meat lovers treat spaghetti & salad. Also had the jumbo crab ravioli with the minestrone soup with a meat ball in it. Had iced tea & the spumoni for dessert. All the food was fantastic & the service was very good also….
