Very happy the old Firehouse is opened when half of restaurants are closed at South Fork. I like all the decorations inside, very unique. Restaurant was clean and neat. Our waitress was very friendly and kind. We had burgers, BBQ sampler, Nuggets and fries. All food were very good.

Stopped in for drinks and a Burger. I had the smothered green chili Burger, it was an outstanding choice. Had 3 trashy blonde’s so good! Service was good. Very friendly and it didn’t matter who helped you even of it wasn’t the bartender they all were more than happy to refill or put an order in.

Service. Excellent. Menu.. great choices. Food was OUTSTANDING. I never say that. Portions were very generous and everything was delicious! We were a large group so there were several different eats and drinks ordered. Hands down, BEST all around experience in travel stops.

This is a very nice breakfast lunch and dinner dining option in South Fork Colorado. The restaurant and Tavern has wonderful decorations on the wall and the staff are very friendly and professional. The highlight of the place has to be this Sunday buffet breakfast.

This restaurant was recommended by a local artist, so we went for lunch. My chicken salad on romaine was delicious. A giant scoop of chunky chicken, celery, and mayonnaise, (no onion–just as I like it), with at least a half-cup of dried cranberries and walnuts on top. It was served with a side of balsamic vinaigrette, which I didn’t need. The salad could easily have served two people. Service was quick and unobtrusive. The salad cost about ten dollars, as did hubby’s Patty Melt (rye bread, grilled onions, Swiss, a big chunk of meat). The bathrooms were clean. The view of the mountains from the large window was pretty. The only real negative thing I can say, and the reason I am giving only four stars, is that there was a constant pounding during lunch. I don’t know if it was the pounding of the chicken fried steaks, or actual construction, but it made my head pound. It lasted through the entire 45 minutes we were there. If not for the pounding, I’d have been tempted to order the ice cream for dessert.

One of my favorite places to eat. The staff is always friendly and attentive. My drinks are always mixed well. This restaurant is in close proximity to my home, so I visit often.

Loved the food. The burger I ordered was so amazing. Juicy, tasty. Just so yummy. All the family at our table who were guests of ours from Denver also really loved the dishes they ordered. We highly recommend. They were also very happy with the kind and friendly service we received. We’ll be back again soon.

5-29-20 Ate in. Scanned bar code on table for menu. Excellent food and service. The burger was huge and good. The shoe string fries are excellent. My husband loves wings and thinks the smoked wings are the best he ever had. Meat falls off the bone and smoke goes all the way through. He also says try Hop trash IPA.
