You are going to love this experience! Set in a lovely traditional home, this restaurant is unique and cozy. Perfect getaway for a couple’s special occasion. We had the Blackened Salmon and Roasted Duck. Both meals were perfectly cooked and served piping hot. They made us feel special! We got a chance to see the new menu for 2026. Oh goodness, you’re going to love what’s coming!

Stopped in without a reservation and was immediately seated (we visited as soon as they opened so this might not be common). The staff was very friendly and set our table and were incredibly professional. Loved the decor and ambiance. My wife and I enjoyed our cocktails. The mojito had freshly picked mint leaves from their garden.

We didn’t necessarily love the Asian dumplings, the flavor wasn’t what we had expected having dumplings before. The salmon was good but the smoked Gouda grits lacked any real flavor of Gouda. My wife enjoyed her seafood chicken bog.

Love this place! Stan and Lisha are perfect hosts and the food is amazing. We live in Greenwood, and this restaurant is better then anything we have in Greenwood. We’ve been customers on a regular rotation for 25 years. Its always a wise idea to get reservations.

Just off the town square is the Old Edge field Grill. The house is an old girl with a beautiful interior. The host seated us immediately and a lady took the drink orders while we viewed the menu.

My friend ordered the BLT with sweet potato fries, I enjoyed the Shrimp and Grits that was recommended by the lady in the distillery in the town square. Both were delicious! The portion size was perfect for both.

Including the tip the bill came to just over $36. Please stop by and give them a try.

You can find them at:
202 Penn Street, Edgefield, SC.

We waited over 40 minutes for our food and almost left. The food was decent after it came out. The waiter had an attitude and didn’t check on us at all. When i told another waiter i didn’t need a drink refill he blatantly ignored me and filled the cup back up anyway. Good food, terrible service.

Atmosphere of a 5 star resteraunt. Please take into account that the restaurant is inside a house that is over 100 years old. I walked in wearing t-shirt and pants while everyone around me was suit and tie. I was seated and treated like I was in a suit and tie. The meal was amazing. The menu is just the right size to provide variety and still small enough that the quality is not lost. This is a locally owned business. It is not a chain or celebrity chef’s restaurant. The chef is still a superstar and prepares everything to perfection.

What a delightful surprise!!! Hidden in Edgefield, SC this restaurant is a “MUST-GO”. Kuddos to the Chef. My favorites (and highly recommended) are: the chicken bites in Thai sauce, the pimento balls (delicious) and the blackened chicken blue salad (OMG). Trust me! It’s worth the trip. Not only a meal… It’s quite an experience!!!!

We stopped on for dinner on Wednesday, luckily, the place was almost empty bc we did not have a reservation. It took about an hour from walking in to finishing our meal. I had the duck and my wife had the chicken parm. The meals were prepared decent enough, however the service didn’t stack up to what one would expect from a restaurant that demands a reservation. I ordered the “Old Edgefield Fashioned” and it came out less than stellar very short pour and not as it was described on the drink menu. It basically was cherry juice and bottom shelf bourbon. We also ordered a slice of cake for desert…. It was super dry and stale, not what I would expect to be served at a white table eatery. I guess the business like the house is just getting out dated and run down. It seems this local gem is losing its luster and shine. I believe I will spend my hard earned money else where when in Edgefield again.

Really good food for a reasonable price in a nicely appointed historic home. I had the shrimp and grits and my wife had a cup of broccoli cheddar soup (She wished she had ordered a bowl) and half of a chicken salad sandwich. I could have had a little less salt in mine but I’m sure it will be perfect for most folks and my wife loved both her soup and sandwich. We will be back!!
